I sold my T4 cab with no monitor for $75. I threw in another empty cab, and a 19 inch tube.
There isn't much interest in this game.
I was the one that bought it from Jon and figured I would convert the cabinet (maybe even mame) if I couldn't get it working...here are a few tips I've found out:
1. The system wasn't working (no sound or video) so I opened it up and found it had playstation 2 labels on it...I later found out it is based on the playstation, fyi
2. it gave the appearance that the dvd was working...it lit up and made spinning sounds so I was hoping it wasn't the board that had the audio/video out...but I found out it was, in fact, the dvd-rom....checking around other forums, many people assume the dvd-rom that comes with it has some sort of special firmware so people pay a premium for that specific dvd-rom (Toshiba SD-M1502) ... I found ebay auctions running over $100 for them alone (now expired)!!! I also read some people had luck trying out off-the-shelf dvd roms with varied success. I tested out a DVD-Rom spare I had and presto, it worked!
3. people are willing to pay for the disc and dongle...many people have the namco 246 running other games and they like swapping them out...and although you can find copies of the discs, you still need the dongle to run them.
4. Some people just want the namco 246 system to use with popular games they like, such as soul caliber...more listed here:

5. You can hook a monitor cable directly to the system if you wanted/needed to (I did this for testing the DVD-Rom but my monitor could only handle the 31kHz setting, not the 15kHz one).
Now all I need is to fix the down switch in the 1st player joystick and get myself a new monitor (

More on these systems here where they have tried to set up a "documentation project" on the 246:

Here you can find people selling the DVD-Rom for $100+:

Note that you cannot seem to order the $14.99 listing off the site
All of this to say: no, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of love for tekken 4 out there but there is *some* interest in it and a lot of interest in the parts.
