FS: Ms Pacman Galaga 1981 Reunion Arcade Machine

Sounds like someone doesn't like to play by the rules. Maybe he'll get that extra $300 or so from someone else, but he won't get any help from anyone around here with anything else in the future. If you're dumb enough to not put a reserve or a minimum bid on your Ebay auction because you wanted to save a few bucks, then you risk getting screwed...and you got screwed. It's like playing Lotto and wanting your money back after you didn't win. Stupid.

I see the OP edited his first post and the reason is: SOLD

Dude, I really hope you are gonna give the guy his game. Total bummer, man.

Total bummer, man.Do you guys know me? As I can see from some of the posters thousands of posts you dont have a life outside this forum. I never made a commitment to this person. Did I really think someone from Boston, Ma was committed to buying from someone in Illinois, No. I have been trying to sell this game for months on Ebay with no luck. Originally started bid at $1200, $1100, $900, then $600. So if I wasnt willing willing to accept $600 on the machine, why did I lower the bid to that amount. Did the prospective buyer offer to put a deposit on the game or ask if I would hold it for him, no. As stated in auction, I have the right to end auction at my discretion, selling locally. Sorry, I dont sit around the computer 24/7 and watch when auctions end. Honestly, did not realize the auction was almost over before I sold it local. For those who think you know who I am, stop crying in your froot loops and get over it. As some of you called me a douche bag, boo hoo. I guess I should have been a bigger dick and took his money, then waited the 2 weeks to refund it back. As I told him sorry, I sold the game locally and asked for a mutual transaction cancel.Either way, the game is gone, the other guys not getting it and he kept his money. So why be the dick and not cancel the transaction? Flame on fags, as I am done with this thread.

So the buyer should lose out because your incompetent?
You didn't end the auction early, the auction finished.
You no longer own the game, if you back out of an auction that YOU decided should have no reserve price, then your a scum bag, no big deal if your ok with that.

To the buyer: do the right thing and leave this guy a neg on ebay, so people know his business practices.

OOH, all the names hurt, tough guys. Go ahead leave negative feedback as I am only a buyer on ebay and do yourselves the favor too and block me on your buyers list.

Not only did you not honor a legally binding auction you just lost any hope of ever selling here again.

BTW you are the only one being a dick here.

Congratulations.

Hey Gary, you may want to take a class on "People Skills" as you have shown you don't have any....You may also want to take down your CL ad (Which has your name and number, for all the people you have pissed off to contact you) since you "sold" it....

Seriously, "I don't sit by my computer" and "I only buy on eBay." I rarely sell things on eBay, and when I do, I'm glued to the computer to see how it's doing. Only big dealers who are selling things all the time don't keep track of their auctions. I really find it hard to believe that he posted pics here 5 min before his auction ended, his auction ended, and THEN some how sold it locally before knowing about the auction ending? Yeah BS. Especially when he didn't take a buyer from Boston "seriously". Your binding contract with eBay is a pretty "serious" contract on both sides, no? I say neg the eBay account and neg here as well. There may have been honest intentions, blah, blah, blah, but it's stupid, and sometimes there are repercussions for stupidity.

ha ha , yeah. You were on the computer posting it for sale here and posting additional pictures within an hour of your auction ENDED, not canceled early, but you didn't check the auction. Once the auction ended, you are obligated to sell it at the ending price.

Admit it. You were wrong and and you acted selfishly. I hope you treat others better in the future.
