FS: Megatouch Maxx Ruby 2 Modified for Longevity in Denver, CO
I have for sale a Merit Megatouch Maxx Ruby 2. The outside of the unit is a solid 7.5 out of 10 but inside it's a 10 out of 10. Outside the sideart is in pretty good shape, a ding here and a ding there but overall very clean. Inside the following mods were done:
-Standard hard disk replaced with flash memory card. This greatly increases longevity, not only on the disk but on other components as well (because less heat is created)
-Lots of Megatouch units have defective parts on the motherboard that are known to fail. On this unit, all problimatic parts have been replaced greatly reducing the chance of failure.
-All components have been gone over. I have installed a brand new CPU fan on the heatsink and I have replaced the CMOS battery on the motherboard.
The screen on this unit is FANTASTIC. The touchscreen works great and the sound is nice and clear.
I've taken pictures of the outside of the unit, but I didn't feel a picture showed just how nice the screen was so posted a video to youtube located here:

Let me know if anyone is interested! Thanks.
