FS: M.A.C.H. 3 Complete (?) Untested Boardset and hardness

Well my search for a working LD player has come to an end with no luck. These are truly untested and appear to be in real nice shape. $65 plus actual shipping from 14086 however ya want it. I can ship the mounting board and cardboard cover with aluminum retailing rail also

Complete unmolested hardness $25 + shipping.

These aren't pulled yet so depending when they sell I might need a couple days to get them prepped for shipping

Are you parting the cabinet out? If I didn't just receive a really nice, complete set then we would be talking, but I am sorry to hear you haven't found the needed player (ANYBODY HELP THIS GUY OUT!!!). I not only need the player, but the cabinet, all artwork, parts, wiring, etc. :)

Game looks to be complete with a pretty nice CP..bezel..flight stick ETC. The Cab has nice art on it with..the bottom has seen water and you would probably need to replace the bottom 2-3 inches. I'm completely out of space and need the garage back before winter.

You can have the whole game..which I do believe is complete minus the LD player and monitor for $100 if you can figure out how to get it from Buffalo

It uses the Pioneer PR-8210 and possibly the LD-1100.

I have a few people offer me broken ones...not sure how that would help.

Being i have no idea what shape the rest of the parts are in i would have a hard time paying top $ for an LD player and disc just to find out something else needs attention.

Do these use a specific laser disc player or can you use any one?

I was seriously thinking about putting a PC in it and running MAME exclusively with MACH 3. I have enough garbage PC laying around it wouldn't cost must of anything. That's kinda why I'm not offering up the rest of the game yet. I would love for someone to grab the whole thing (it was offered a few months ago with 0 responders @ $100)...i would sell it cheap providing the intention was to get it back running vs a money grab for parts. I see the flight sticks have sold for $75ish here alone

If you were closer, even within driving distance (I'm in Missouri!), I would grab it in a heart beat for $100. I know of a great wood working fellow and he could easily replace the bottom (already did it on one cabinet).

If you do convert it (obviously, I really, really don't want that), then Daphne is the way to go and not MAME. There are several flight based laser games (another KLOVer converted their Astron Belt to Daphne a year or two ago).

Do you have a source? The cheapest I've seen LaserCons is in the $250-$300 range..add the player and the MACH 3 disc and your probably pushing $500. I've seen the entire game sell for this price. I'd much rather put that cash into a game I like.

How about getting a Lasercon and picking up a 4400 LD player? They are pretty cheap and easy enough to find

Lasercons are around $140 from what I remember and you can find working 4400's even on Ebay for around $40 to $50.

Here is the link to Shaun's site for the LaserCon. MACH3 is shown as supported and supports a Pioneer 8000 series player. Based on my discussions with Shaun in the past, I suspect a 4400 or some of the other Pioneer players will actually work.

The killer part of this for me is I already have that LaserCon and a laserdisc player!

In my search for Dragon's Lair compatible players, I picked up two of the PR-8210s. One seemed to power up, but wouldn't track and the other was crap.

Instead of trashing them, I sent them together out for service, hoping to make one good one. Good news - looks like one was repairable and should be coming back working this week.

$220 plus shipping for the PR-8210. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I've also got a MACH 3 laserdisc that was in one of the players. $50 plus shipping for the disc.

I have a working LD player

My M.A.C.H. 3 has been an albatross around my neck. Got it working, then I messed something up and it works, but not "right" and I have been tryingto find someone to help me fix it with now luck.

I have a ton of spares as I have grabbed every thing I can find in the hope of one day having a working game again.

Spare LD player (working) and Disc. Spare boards (alot) and I will be more than willing to trade with anyone who can get my game working right again.

Email is better than PM'ing [email protected]

I am in Mead (just North of Longmont) CO 80542

Thanks,
