About the Missile Command control panel. Precision cut from 16GA cold rolled steel sheet metal, powder coated, artwork directly screened onto panel and BAKED on. This is 100% compatible with OEM games.
You'll be getting artwork screened directly onto the METAL PANELS These are essentially just like the OEM Atari panels. Instead, the artwork is directly screened to the metal control panels.

Will the paint & metal have the rough/grainy texture of the original?

Yes they will. Matching that texture was probably the most difficult part of this project, btw. Everything else is a walk in the park.

Thanks for all the PM's and emails, everyone!! I'm really amazed at the turn out for these two CP's.

Someone is sending me cabaret panels to copy from. I won't be able to get these done the first time around, but as soon as I have some free time on the laser, you know I'll be making these as well. Anything Atari flavored is fair game as far as I am concerned.

Will this include contol panels for the Battlezone cabaret as well

Yeah... the originals were painted weren't they? I would imagine you'd have to find a powder coat finish that can effectively match the original paint finish correct?

I'll send the BZ cabaret panel out this week. Does anyone here have a spare Missile Command panel they can send him? I'll need my only Missile Command panel sooner than later, as it's all I have to finish the project, although I would buy a rescreened one in a heartbeat.

I'll be watching for this. BTW, I can do any of the cabaret panels as long as I have an original to work from. These are actually very easy for me to do since they're much smaller than their full size counterparts. Did I miss any of the older "classic" Atari game control panels which have artwork screened onto them? I really want to push more artwork items now that I've decided to spend time on both the *simple* projects as well as the more complicated controller projects which have been ongoing for years. Which reminds me, watch for the Lunar Lander thrust controller and the Tempest spinner. I should have announcements for both possibly as early as next month.

Thanks for everything, guys!!

Can I ask how you can sell a MC or LL panel which are extremely heavy for $80 including shipping to anywhere on the planet?

I would imagine that shipping either would alone cost $80 to Europe. Just saying.

Great news ,I will keep a lookout for any updates

Hey Oliver,

I'll admit that I'm eating it on a few just to keep the cost simple for everyone. When you do the kind of QTY's I do and factor in the very few orders going outside of the U.S., it all evens out and I still come out ahead. Perhaps not as profitable as it could be, but I really don't want to gouge anyone on artwork. Besides, I don't think any of you know how little it really does cost to do these in quantity. :)

No risk here for anyone at all. Just add your name to the list and watch for the product next month.
