Both of these boards need to go and I really do not want to sell either of them, but the situation demands it. I tore my ACL and my LCL recently and between the Hospital, Orthopedist, X-rays, MRIs, Physical Therapy and Upcoming surgery for both ligaments I am about to be broke as joke... despite having health insurance. Prices do not include shipping and I accept paypal only. Buyer can pay using the gift option or can include the 4% fees, up to them whichever they feel more comfortable with. I will only ship via Priority Mail w/Delivery Confirmation. Due to my work schedule I can only mail out boards on saturday.

I would really like to get some feedback as to how much these are worth, so please either PM me or post in this thread so everyone can see. Any interested parties can feel free to PM me in the meantime with offers on either or both of these. I have always tried to sell my stuff for cheap and more often then not have sold stuff at a loss on these forums, this time however I really need the money so please understand that I am trying to sell these to ease my situation a little.... And in the same breath, please no lowballers.

All boards are 100% tested and original. I will post pics later tonight or tomorrow.

--NOS Konami Life Force PCB (US Ver.)........................................... ***SOLD***
Includes a beautiful and brand new PCB, instruction sticker, manual and marquee.

--Am also curious what the fair going rate of an Irem In the Hunt (M-92/US ver.) would be?

Nemesis (aka Gradius) can fetch that kind of money, but not Lifeforce. If you're looking for top dollar, your best bet is to put it on eBay and hope a couple Japanese collectors fight over it.

I like Lifeforce but given that I don't have a cab to put it in wouldn't offer much for it lol. Hope that's not normal price or I won't ever have it!

thanks for the input... here is one that was not working for 150;

Japanese loose PCB for 250

So you think 250 for a brand new PCB, with art is too high? Bearing in mind I am willing to entertain offers on this. Id probably take 200 even but I have rarely seen a working US Life Force with or without art go for less then 200. If anyone has any links though that would offer a more concrete price point, please do share.

I havent actually posted a price yet... as per the first post I am hoping people can provide some insight into how much it is worth. I guessed, based on the trend these boards have taken to in recent years around the 250-300 mark in its current condition with all that is included.

But after doing some searching, seems 200-250 is about right on. If no one bites on it here, it's no problem I'll just sell it elsewhere.

Throw it on ebay, you should be able to get $300+ for that Lifeforce with all the extras you mentioned.

In The Hunt averages about $100. I've seen them go anywhere from $80-$125.

How exactly do you prove it is a "brand new" PCB? Did you personally remove it from a sealed kit? That is a tough claim to back up.... and unlikely to command a premium over any other clean 100% working board.

Id rather it sell to someone in the community for a fair price honestly. If no one buys it though... I guess I will throw it up there.

Thanks for the tip on In the Hunt dude

How can I prove it? Because I bought it from the Operator who purchased it and never put it on a route. I watched him take it out of the original shipping box when I bought it along with the unused manual, marquee, etc.

Are you interested in buying it? Do you own it or have sold one in the past?

I dont really need to back any claim up man. If someone thinks I am lying to inflate the price then screw em... Id rather not do business with them anyways.

I am very interested in the NOS LifeForce kit. However, I am also broke at the moment. I will try to sell of some of my lesser used items and if it is still available in two weeks...you will hre from me. Keep your thread updated please. Thank you!

Im not trying to be a dick either... in case that was interpreted from my reply to you (matt)... just like I am not assuming by your post that you are challenging me either. Much gets lost in writing.

sounds good NERDtendo... keep in mind I do not have any of the filler stuff like sideart, joysticks, or either of the boxes (the large konami printed one or the smaller one)... but everything I do have is from the kit and new.

Thanks for the interest man, will definitely keep the thread updated.

No, it's not a challenge at all. I'm just saying that a NOS PCB is a very difficult claim to back up. I've pulled plenty of kits from ops where the PCB looked virgin, but I know it was in a machine for at least some period of time and then returned to the box. Unless I broke the seal on the kit, I would never make the claim that a PCB was NOS. You're free to make whatever claim you like of course, but an experienced collector is not going to put much weight in that without some kind of proof.

I can't help you too much on pricing. I sold my Lifeforce PCB several years ago for $100 shipped (private sale to a foreign collector that was also buying a Nemesis PCB from me for $200). You really should put it on eBay though... occasionally you see Gradius items go for crazy money. Make sure you say you'll ship international, as the buyer will likely be Japanese.

Thats good info, thanks!

I hate dealing with ebay though... getting hit twice on fees really blows and I hate giving them free money. We'll see what happens though.

The last 2 Lifeforce PCB's I put on Ebay, I got $213 for a working one, and $170 for a non working one. You should easily be able to get $250+ on ebay for the kit and it will most likely go overseas to Japan, etc... Both of mine did.

I'd love to get a working Life Force board, but I can't afford to shell out $200-$300 for one quite honestly. And I've heard they are a pain to repair,so if your board ever craps out on you...you may be SOL.
