FS: Joust Pinball Machine

Thanks. I see it. I just finished drooling over all the pictures. Now I just need to win the lottery....:(

$2000+ for a Joust pin is not out of line at all considering it's rarity and collector following. This one will go a lot higher I bet, rare pinball are hot right now. I still cringe at the $700 one I passed on many years ago, I just didn't know any better. $700 for a non working machine seemed like a bad deal to me, d'oh!

The Joust pin is one of the most entertaining pins ever when you have somebody else playing it with you. I couldn't tell you how many hours I spent playtesting that with Dave when he was writing the software for it. It is so unbelievably awesome when it kicks into multi-ball with two players. I especially love the killshot where you bounce the ball off the upper left bumper (on your side) and carom the ball directly into the drain right between your opponents flippers :D. I also hate the killshot when he does it to me .

On the other hand, as a one player game, it kinda sucks a**.

It does seem like a simple enough game to recreate for under $3000. I wonder if it would be possible to make a new head to head that was a little more elaborate and supported 1 player better for under 3000. You could have the shots that go to the other side redirect to ramps or trap doors in 1 player mode. That would be amazing.

I loved playing Revenge of the Gator in head to Head mode. I can't find a screen shot of the Match Play mode with 2 gameboys, but it was fun:

Revenge of the Gator was based on another HAL game for the NES called Rollerball. It has a 2 player mode, but is isn't head to head like Gator was:

This looks fun The Atarians:

Maybe we could get CPR to do a playfield... but honestly if we were going to do it, why not make it a little better. Everyone says how cool this game is, but also complains about 1 player mode and the lack of toys....

How about Joust 2, hahahaha, sorry, but the pinball could be cool!
