SOLD : Joust PINBALL for sale

Not a fire sale, but I have to reluctantly admit
that I don't play it as much as others games,
(...although it's a blast at parties...)
so I'd rather make the space for something else.

Excellent Condition, works 100%

http://www.arcade.chezsuys.com/Joust.html

No broken plastics,
PF is in very good condition (with mylar in shooter lanes)
Clean, shopped boards.
Has stabilizer bars/legs ( these are often missing... )
Will provide brand new tempered top-glass (still packaged)

Can possible bring to Allentown Pin show in May.

$4200 if you pick-up (I'm in Ottawa, Canada)
$150 to deliver to Allentown ( 7hr drive...)

---

Like I said, I'm certainly not desperate to sell it,
but I'd like to get what I've got invested in it...

I can take more high-res pics if anyone is seriously interested.

Thanks,
Steph

Sounds like a nice machine. Good luck with your sale!

Thanks.

I'll be a little sad to see if go because I know I'll never be able to find another like it,
but it's alot of money to be tied-up in one game, especially if it doesn't get played
as much as it should .

(...wow, how's that for a sales pitch ! ;-)

That said , if I can find a Defender pinball to complete the set,
I'd likely keep to Joust and fulfill my quest to own the Williams "couples"
( joust cocktail vid and head-to-head pinball, and Defender vid and pin ).
[ ... geez, if only there was a Robotron pin, I could get the trifecta ! ;-) ]

Great price! My buddy sold his non-working (in need of SERIOUS troubleshooting) and dirty as hell for 3k the first day with multiple interested parties. $4200 for a nice one like that is an excellent price. This is definetily a "collectors" machine. Just another guy here that would love to have this but can't for multiple reasons :(

Good Luck :)

[... wow, that was faster than I thought... ]

Machine is now sold. ...snif....

(...and headed over-seas... )

Thats to bad, selling that overseas is like dropping your keys in molten lava. When they're gone, baby there gone.

True...

But the game is going to a good home, purchased by a serious collector.

...anyone willing to drop $1G+ on shipping, calling me personally from France
to work out the logistics to have the game pallet-lifted from my home,
and making full-payment wire transfer (no strings attached) before-hand,
... is a serious customer.

It is a little sad to see another rare piece go across the pond,
but I'm very comfortable in knowing that the game will get the attention it deserves
and will be appreciated by many more people than I could have offered
from my small games room...

Steph

Don't get me wrong, your game your right to sell period.
That was just a general observation on the state of our hobby lately. How many containers of pins and jukes get shipped over now by a few who can buy in big bulk and there by establish an artificial market price that a lot here can't pay then ship overseas at a premium.
Hey it's the American way

Ianyone willing to go thru all that for shipping costs and risk it all with a straight up payment like that deserves the game. I think thats really cool someone will have one over there, with enough money Im sure it can find its way back!!

Kind of funny because I have 2 pins from overseas. One from germany and one from denmark both data east, both bought from 2 different sellers in virginia. These machines were never in the US because they both had original data east stamps with country of origin from overseas. But these machines aren't rare by any stretch. Money talks and well you know..

WHAT !!!!
where does one get a quest like that !!!!

that's great
heh

sure is a nice looking machine
good luck with your sale

Great looking machine and as a Joust arcade fan, it would be an awesome game to have in a collection. Congrats on the sale, even if you will be sad to have it gone.

Out of curiosity, is the objective to 'bat' the balls to your opponents side until they drain? sort of like hockey?

The pin is sort of like the vid,
in that in order to get a good score,
you need to play "with" your opponent, no against...

That said, to get the most points,
you actually want the ball(s) on your side.

In single-player mode, you actually control the flippers at BOTH ends,
which is kinda cool as you try to send the ball back to your own side.

It is quite a clever game, but the two half-playfields
really don't give you that much to shoot for,
so it's not a game you'd play for hours.

Steph

It seems a bit like a novelty, but certainly one you don't see many of. If it was any theme other than Joust, I probably wouldn't have much interest in playing one... but it looks really cool! I bet controlling both sets of flippers - including a set facing you, is pretty wild.
