I recently got a HUO (Home Use Only)/ DOO (Doctor's Office Only) Gauntlet. The original and only owner was a pediatrician. He purchased it new in 1985. He would give the children coins to play the game while they were in his reception area to calm them down.

I am only parting with this game because I purchased another cabinet that was totally restored from the ground up from Troy Akey.

The only problems with the cabinet are 1) a 2" x 2" piece missing on the corner of the right side art and 2) a few holes drilled in the front of the cabinet for the lock bar placement. He said that the distributor he purchased it from placed the lock bar on it.

I would probably replace the front panel coin decal because it has some holes drilled in it. A perfectly matched reproduction silk screened front panel decal can be purchased from arcadeshop.com.

All joysticks, buttons and coin mechs work perfectly. Light screen burn. Game is complete and all original

Email me if you are seriously interested. I am not going to sell it cheap but I will sell it reasonably.

Thanks

Actually no, this is the correct side art. I did some lengthy research on this and according to Mike Halley (designer at Atari during production of this game), Gauntlet 1 was made with both full side art and partial side art.

I know the flyer depicts something differently, but this is straight from the horses mouth.

Nice looking machine. I like the full size side art better

I'm mostly just looking for offers. I bought Troy Akeys restored machine for quite a bit so I'd be happy to get a decent price for this machine. I just want honest fair offers.

Bump... still available. Lots of interested people but no real serious offers. I have one guy that I promised first right of refusal but hes not sure he has room for it.
