FS: House of the Dead 2 - $390

Bump. Still for sale.

Everything on it works great. Some cosmetic issues: the decal that was on the control panel is completely gone and doesn't have the thing that goes above the marquee. Also has two noticeable filled in spots (You should have seen it before I painted it! ). Asking $390.

Recently taken pics can be seen here:

I'm located in middle GA and can deliver it if needed (just not too far out of the way - and by that I mean within 30 miles of Warner Robins). I can also ship it if someone is willing to pay shipping prices on it. Would like to sell it locally if possible.

Edit:

Since I'm new here, here's my feedback on Atariage and ebay -

[QOUTE=Lukenatme;1549553]Holy crap. Nice. I wouldn't sell mine for twice that.[/QUOTE]

No kidding. I just paid almost twice that for mine (in slightly better condition). Awesome deal for someone, this is a great game too

Thanks guys. I agree that it is a fun game, the voice acting reminds me of those old cheesy horror films as well, which makes it better IMO . It's one of those things where I'd like to sell it or trade it for something new, but at the same time I wouldn't be disappointed if I didn't sell it. Unfortunately there's not a lot of interest in arcade games where I live (or at least there doesn't seem to be)

If I had more space I probably would take you up on the deal. You're right about the N. Florida/AL/South GA area. It's a arcade desert. What type of games are you interested in for trade?

I'd like to get either another shooting game of similar value or a sit down racer / single cabinet of virtual on, etc.

Someone sold one around here for $295 a few weeks ago.

It sold fast, though.

That game is definitely worth what you are asking.

OH man... that's a tuff one.
I'm getting a VC2 tonight and I picked this one cause I could do board swaps with HOTD. Both don't use those monitor bezel sensors. (which are probably more acurate)

slightly off topic, but can anything be swapped with hotd 2 like that?

Not really, no. My HOTD 2 set up is one motherboard. It's Naomi, yes... but unlike the carts that can be changed out, mine is one big blob. Will forever be HOTD2. I'm fine with that. :)

Are you sure those games can be swapped that easily?

That swap is doable. VC2 is Model 2A and HOTD is Model 2C. They use the same wiring. The filter boards are different, but the connectors are all there.

The 90s Sega compatibility rundown:
Model 1 unique
Model 2 games (no letter designation) have a unique wiring standard and are not easily adapted to other M2/M3 cabs.
Model 2 A, B, and C use similar wiring, so they can generally be interchanged.
Model 3 (all steps) similar wiring to 2 A,B,C but with the addition of 3.3v input.

Yes, I had Ken Westerfield cage my HOTD boards and modified a filter board for it. This way it can do that swap.

I'm hopefully picking up an F350 dually in Dallas, GA in the next week or two, and driving it back up here, if all goes well. I would pick up this game as well, if it's still available, and if you're not too far out of the way. No sense driving an empty truck back north. Shoot, how cool would it be to get a sweet truck and a game I've wanted to add to the home arcade, all in one trip? :)
