$4200???

South Park Pinball pinball machines were $5000 at Sharper Image brand new. The last Sharper Image store was at my mall and it had a South Park and a Sopranos....It went out of business and the two pins I think got reduced to $3000 each and it still took a month to sell them......

sweet, lets steal a fucking deloreon and travel back in time to score that deal at a random mall in a randomly going out of business store located in a place filled with 13 year old pimply retards trying to look cool while their moms are at lane bryant.

FYI, Costco is selling the remaining Batman pinball machines for $3,200 right now (new in box).

Costcos page say they are sold out of batmans. Where did you see this?

You have to go in the store (or call your local stores). They are not on the website. A friend just saw them here (VA) in the store last week. They had 2 new in the box.

I'm pretty sure Todd's point is that you can't buy them new anymore, or at anytime in oh... the last 12 years, so since this one is nearly new, he wants a good price for it.

A new 57 Belair probably cost 3 grand when it was new, if you have one near new now you could probably get $45 grand or so out of it.

See how that works?

IMO, that analogy is a little far-fetched for a Sega South Park ;-) Great cartoon. Mediocre pin.

It'd be a stretch to consider -that- game a classic or highly-collectable pin (ala a 57 Chevy). Your analogy would certainly work for a MM, TZ, Addams Family, Black Knight, Fireball, etc. :)

i never get excited when i see these tnt postings, i used to but than quickly realized every available machine is more than anyone i know would spend!

Analogys just exibit a trend, the 57 Belair is an extreme example, but it shows that the logic holds up :)

Now if anybody else was asking 4200 for a HUO Southpark, I'd think they're crazy... but knowing Todd and his business, he'll sell it. People like him, and if somebody's looking for a nice Southpark, he's probably got the nicest one around. He just sold a Twilight Zone and an Addams Family for CRAZY money a few weeks ago, about twice what anybody else can get out of them.
