Just in case someone may mis-read the above, the power supply boards for these two games are different and are not interchangeable between the two games. I believe Troy is saying he has both available.

Whats different about them?
I interchange them all the time with no problems...

I know some gottlieb ps boards have an extra cap and resistor but that has never prevented them from being swapable in my experiences.

Hmmm...I was going by this:

http://www.ionpool.net/arcade/gottlieb/technical/power.html

which identifies them as different, but like you say, relatively minor differences. Ok, I guess I have to take it back. I knew the stock supply was a different revision, so I never tried switching them.

Gilda Radner... "NEVER MIND".

Sorry about the false alarm and I learned something new today besides.

Joe does not know what he is talking about :)

Mad Planets, Qbert & Reactor can all use the same power supply. Krull is another animal unless it is modified to run the power & sound like the others. I have done this several times. This way you can swap power boards and sound boards between the others (rom change on SB only). This makes them more universal.

The gottlieb games that use the non LM379S sound amp will have the little adapter card. Those sound boards will have to have a matching modified power supply and are used in Krulls and late run Qberts from what I understand.

I still have 2 qbert boards that had a little acid damage that was cleaned up. They both work all the way, have the battery mod & reset line mod. $105 shipped in USA, I'm tired of staring at them........
