....but it's still a Galaga board and no matter what you do to it, as with many of these "over 30 years old" arcade boards, something working today may have a marginal component that decides to fail tomorrow. My motto is "if you love your game, always have spare major components". I have a BZ and you bet I have a spare pcb and also a monitor (will also work in my Asteroids Deluxe). Nothing ruins a day more than when you are ready and have the time to play your favorite game and you turn it on and it does not run. If I owned a Galaga, I definitely would get a spare board and this would make a great spare or primary board.
