This is now sold.

The cabinet is an original Atari Quantum cabinet with serial number label (UR00510) still attached. The game was converted to another game in the early 80s, and I converted it back. This was a year-long restoration project. As you can see below, almost all of the parts are new or rebuilt. There is no water damage. This comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.

Includes/Features:
Original Quantum cabinet with serial number 510
New repro Quantum board with all new components
New repro wiring and control panel harnesses
WG 6100 color vector monitor with LV2000 low voltage retrofit and new caps installed
Rebuilt Atari power supply and new power cord
New cabinet artwork (sides and front)
New T molding
New leg levelers
New repro marquee (also have original flaking glass marquee if you want it)
New marquee brackets
New fluorescent bulb and starter
Original coin door (painted) with new plastic inserts
New locks on coin door
New control panel and artwork
New illuminated blue Happ trackball with new bolts (sanded smooth and painted black)
Original illuminated Atari cone buttons
NOS Quantum back door instruction sheet
NOS vent cover on top of cabinet
Original speakers
One new speaker cover, one original
New plexiglass and display shield bracket
Original cardboard bezel
Quantum keychain

Price is $4,000 firm.

Let me know if you have any questions.

No water damage? The pics clearly show water swelling on the back of the game.

Looks like a great game, but after reading "no water damage" I was surprised by the pics.

i'm in NoVA! how about a broken Ms Pac Man and $10?

seriously j/k but geez ... i get that it's a rare game, and i get the price as well but best o' luck with the sale. you're gonna have to find a very selective buyer for such a fine piece of arcade history

why you sellin' it? it looks great!

I stand corrected. There is minor moisture damage at the outside top of the back door (but did not penetrate the door). From the other pics you can see that the wood on the bottom of the cabinet is in good shape.

Best of luck with the sale. Looks great. That repro wiring harness and repro marquee make it look even better! :D

Not to hijack the thread but do you have any repro harnesses or marquees left? I've had a couple of folks ask me for sources for Quantum parts.

Giveaway price for an excellent restoration.

Official response: Thread bump for the seller!

Unofficial response: Yes, definitely still have repro harnesses left, please send them my way. Yes, have a few second tier repro marquees left, please send them my way.

I wonder if that will work for other things. Not to rob the bank, but stick em up! Hand over your money! :D

yeah but it also bumped the thread so balanced kharma? There I bumped it again.

There is some discussion about whether Quantum looks OK on a WG6100 vs. Amplifone. I run mine in a Tempest cab with the WG6100, and I can tell you it looks just fine - way better than Star Wars or Major Havoc on a WG. There are just too many vectors being drawn on those games, but Quantum looks nice and solid with no flickering.

Also, it looks like the board in this game is fully socketed, which I think makes it worth a bit more as it would make future troubleshooting/repair much easier.

I have not seen any flickering on this Quantum. Thanks for the comments.
