I just picked up a Rastan conversion, that I was told was originally a Zookeeper. The cabinet is really rather solid and might make a good candidate for a restore. It has wood grain laminate on the sides, and a Rastan Bezel and Marquee. There is burn in on the monitor but is not really noticeable during game play, and it has been recently capped so it is nice and bright. Everything plays 100%.

I grabbed it for someone who is now on the fence, so I thought I would offer it up here before I look to turn it into a multicade and toss it up on Craiglist. Send a PM and I'll send you some pictures. I'm looking to sell outright or else trade for/toward a pin or maybe an upright driving game or afterburner cabinet. (Something that my existing multi couldn't handle).

One additional piece of information concerning this cabinet, which was discovered in response to a question. There are two areas (one on each side) at the bottom where the laminate is peeling. This reveals sections of blue which might actually be the original zoo keeper artwork, I'll let you guys decide if this is correct or not.

Most likely not a zookeeper originally actually.. the blue artwork was deeper and did not go to the edge anywhere. That chip would be orange if it was zk. Probably alpine ski.

Thanks, I figured someone would know. I was told Zoo Keeper when I bought it, but I think that was based on the monitor burn in and cabinet style rather than any other information. I saw the blue and thought it was possible.

I wondering what the sides look like under the laminate. if you were closer I'd be interested in saving that cab.

I'll do a final bump on this. If no one is interested it will likely end up being turned into a multicade and then dumped on craigslist.

Is anyone interested in the board if I end up parting it out? The bezel is available too, although it does have a few burn marks on it.

I'm still on the fence about parting it out, so is there any interest in this for $200? It works fine. I'm also open to trades anything video/pin related.
