FS/FT:*NEW and SEALED* “Cosmo Black” Nintendo 3DS systems + FS/FT Ketsui Extra

No offense man but, am I missing something here?

Why would anyone buy a 3ds from someone on an forum for the exact price they'd pay at BEST BUY after sales tax?
THEN, cover your paypal fees and wait for it to be delivered?

Makes no sense to me.

Good luck though.

By shipping them on my dime and with insurance etc. I am actually going to lose money on each of these.

I don't, know, maybe to help a brother out? Some people just don't have Best Buy etc. down the road and have to have stuff shipped.

Besides I am more than willing to work a partial trade/sale if that what the buyer wants.

Thank you very much for your question brother! :)

This isn't necessarily price policing because you're selling at a loss (technically), but qbass is right. Why would anyone pay more than they have to? If they need something shipped, they can order from Amazon and get it for no tax and free shipping. $249.99 shipped with 30-day return policy and 1-year warranty from Nintendo from day of purchase. Realistically, you're going to have to eat what you paid on tax in addition to shipping/packaging costs.

Why do you have so many 3DSs may I ask?

Good luck with your sales nonetheless.

Because you want something and don't necessarily have the cash for it. That's the wonder of barter, a lost mercantile art, IMO. If he's got the receipt, there's a registration ticket in the box for Club Nintendo. You take that, go register it, and it has 2 years warranty coverage from date of purchase.

Not that I've ever had to use it on ANY of the Nintendo products I've ever purchased, including the five DS's, two DSis, and the 3ds...but I guess it might come in handy someday. Tried to get coverage on my wife's first DS Lite..they didn't replace the defective plastic hinges on the first gen DS Lite's..not really sure what the point of their warranty is when they won't replace things that cause total system failure.

If I was the seller, I woud've tried hocking this on CL first, but that's me...I'm broke. :|

Oh, and the serial numbers are on the back of the unit, along with inside under the battery. If any of the screws are f'ed up, or either serial number is scratched off..well....take it from someone who learned the hard way. :|

Yeah, and I meant no harm by what I said, just doesn't make sense to me. Setting your asking price as retail price + tax seems unrealistic in this day and age unless you're selling on eBay where you're more likely selling to an international customer or someone similar who doesn't have access or the perks of purchasing within the US. I forgot he said he's willing to barter as well which makes more sense. I'll shut up now. :)

Anyone reading the thread would think that it's silly. Unless it's some kinda rare htf version or something.

I love my chartreuse DS Lite designed for women. Don't really give a damn what anyone says. But I tend to carry the XL now more than even the 3DS until some good 3DS games come out. :)

I picked them up for the family and due to some recent bills I have to part ways with them, plain and simple.

It hurts to take such a loss on these between shipping, the loss of what I paid in tax, and to appease the masses give incentive, but I could use the money.

Anyone have something to trade as well; please feel free to give me a PM.

Thank you guy's for your time, I truly appreciate it!

What's the matter with you??? Return them to the store where you purchased them for a full refund. 'DUH'

I just may do this although I have had these since launch and don't know if they will return them (I believe they should). I save up gift cards over time to pick up expensive purchases. I would rather have the cash than just the credit again.

EDIT: If you want a 3DS, contact me by tomorrow night as I am just going to return them on Monday.
