FS Former AD converted to a Choplifter and DK as well as others form a bulk purchase

The Choplifter / AD is in really bad shape and does not work.
The DK works, but the cabinet is shot and the sprites arent displaying correctly.

I could fix them, but the time it would take and the space they occupy outweigh their need.

I would prefer someone buy the whole machine (DK or Choplifter or both), but I doubt that will happen. If no one wants either one I will part it out. (I know its sad, but no one and nothing lasts forever)

Reasonable Offers please -- Yes I hate the offer thing but I need them gone.

I will be driving to Kentucky (and Possibly Southern Ohio) from Lousiana at then end of the month and could potentially deliver all or parts along the way.

Also if I can get enough interest to tow a trailer I would sell and transport some of these games I bought in a bulk purchase...

I am keeping a few and selling the rest -- PM me with what you are interested in.

Somebody save that Red DK!

By the way, what's the serial number on the DK? Is the bezel a one-piece with the artwork printed on the front or a two-piece with the artwork printed on the back?

Per Choplifter: I wonder how they expected people to play with buttons above the joystick. That conversion belongs in the hall of shame. I would be interested to see how they mounted the monitor in the cab. I wish I was local so I could make you an offer on the Choplifter marquee.

I does kinda look red :)

Serial data plat attached - I did have that pic on hand.

The bezel is one piece stencil on the back of plexi

I have no clue about the buttons - Atari cab set up for Choplifter (or so told). Looks like a Vertical setup WG 4600 in the cabinet. I may have a Choplifter Marquee somewhere or I could just sell you this one. :)
Yeah I know -- shipping kills all of the good deals

The DK is one of the rare early versions and appears to have all original parts, but it's in rough shape. It's not a Radar Scope conversionbut it's one of the early red ones, before they switched over to using light-blue cabinets. Are you sure the stencil is on the back of the bezel?

You usually see the early bezels in two forms: there are the early two-piece bezels where the front piece is clear (no tint) has the art silkscreened on the back, and then there's a seperate tinted piece behind that that is taped to the front piece; the second type is a one-piece tinted plexi with the artwork silksceened on the front. None of the early bezels have copyright info on the bottom right corner.

There could be other variations though. Pretty cool. When you boot up the game and look at the title screen does it say "1981 Nintendo" or does it say "1981 Nintendo of America Inc"? That will tell you if you're also running the early program with the "ladder cheat".

Anyway, you might be able to sell that to the right person if you list it right. It's going to need work, but those early DKs are kind of rare. It might be worth more whole because it appears to be all original.

JamBurglar -- Thanks for the information, it always helps to know what you have on hand. Based on what you have told me I might as well find a spot for this somewhere in my realm of the barn or shop and see about restoring it. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

The Bezel is the two piece with the clear front and smoked plexi adhered to the backside. The transformer is black indeed. I had bought one of the DK repro Control Panels for this a while back. I thought what the heck let me put it on and see what it looks like after. Bad idea as now the sprites are totally jacked up. I must have bumped the board or breathed out of the wrong side of my mouth. (Pics attached)

The Choplifter has been disassembled and is laying in pieces. If you need something let me know. Its on its way out the door (Pics attached)
- Monitor Chassis is spoken for. Everything else is available.
