I have talked with Kalan on the phone today, he was extremely helpfull, and more than willing to resolve this issue. We are going over the details in PM, but he's an honest stand up guy, and unfortunately got dragged into the RAM issues, but the issue between he and I is being taken care of.

Not everyone was attacking Kalan. I was stating facts. It's a fact, that he will be liable for money that went to his paypal account. It's a fact, that he can't just defer it over to Dave and think people have no legal recourse against him. There were some assumptions made, but there are also plenty of facts implicating him. I am not saying Kalan set out to rip any one off. I do not think he did that at all. But he is still going to get hammered legally for taking in money to his paypal. And he sure did not seem to care to make it right at first, he wanted to pass the buck to Dave. My comments in this thread were to get Kalan to realize he is on the hook and needs to talk to Dave and get it resolved. I am not in charge of this thread, but you are enabling Kalan and refusing to see what is happening right in front of you just because he is your friend. I wish nothing but the best to him, and I hope Dave gives him the money to pay people back, but Kalan has not done much in this thread to win anyone over.

This is true. Years ago I had a so-called friend who sold a $400 Dyson vacuum on eBay. He asked me to take the payment for it with my account since his had issues because he was going through a divorce or some bs excuse he gave me. I tried to help to be a nice guy, so I let his winning bidder pay my account. Sure enough, a few weeks later, I get a complaint and the money is withdrawn from my account...he never sent the vacuum, but of course told me he did weeks ago. I had to fight tooth and nail to get anything I could back from my so-called friend, as the buyer who paid my account just wanted their money back from the account they had paid and didn't care about the situation, which is totally understandable. Even though I sold nothing, I was on the hook because I accepted the payment for the sold goods that ended up never being shipped or received. Same would apply here, he accepted payment. Doesn't matter what was done with it after that, he was paid for something that was never received. Like others have said, I don't think there was any malicious intent behind it, he was probably used just like I was, but he owes the money because his account was the one that was paid.

In light of this, the thread will be closed for the time being. Kalan, if you want to sell a Foodfight board here, feel free to start another thread, but this has gone so far off topic that it would be silly to keep using this one. There are plenty of other threads where you guys can argue about Dave besides this one.
