Hi. It was a goal to own one and happy i did - time to move on now...

The Good:

Game is fully shopped, lots done to it. See list below of work done. EDOT is cosmetically presentable and technically in great shape, plays 100 percent. Very clean and stable, worry free for me.

The Bad:

Missing rear lower Backglass and plexi (Just received and will include the upper backglass in great shape), rear light fixtures (can put fluoros in if you want) and rear upper marquee mounting bracket (25 to replace?). All sideart is intact - right side has some small drill holes.

Adding - Control panel overlay in good shape with cracking at rear and front. Also, monitor bezel (with screened art) had paint loss in upper right side, this was touched up and cleared. Pics can be provided, came out ok.

The Ugly:

EDOTs are never Ugly.

My original outlay + parts and cost to get in this condition - $3800. This is a chance before Ebay (will list as starting price).

Pics - can get more upon request.

Short list of whats been done:

-- I tore every part off the machine, tumbled the metal parts. Stripped and painted the insides. Most metals stripped and sprayed original black.

-- Ripped out the carpet, installed new.

-- All boards were sent to CDJump - he made some repairs to them, they are all solid now.

-- Boards were cleaned, fan installed (removable) to keep the game running cool.

-- G07 monitor recapped, also the monitor has near to Zero burn.

-- The entire mirror / bezel contraption - EDOT has a few of them - were Novus polished for clarity and cleaned. The reflection image is gorgeous now.

-- Control panel was torn down, cleaned up. Original CP in great shape. New Tron Joystick installed.

-- Coin door was torn down / repainted. Coin door area was repainted.

-- Buff polished the sides of the cab with Treasure cove polishing kit, touched up art work - didnt need much.

-- Tilted the game to its side, scraped off flaking bottoms, painted them. Its better than it was.

-- Bondo'd the lower rear of the game as there was some flaking to the wood around the corners.

-- New t molding (on rear and insides).

-- JBL speakers installed over the users head (sounds better than stock :)).

-- Spent a lot of time on that floor disc - buffing dirt out, polishing it, etc. Came out nice too.

-- Replaced relay boards (darn parts cost me 70 each), all blacklights are correct.

-- Power transformer replaced the two large caps, underside diodes.

-- Some other things, forgetting.

Thanks!

Sorry - Location, location, location - 10543 zip code. Will ship NAVL / STI - that is how i got the game and would expect shipping to be around 500 or so (depends on your location) (covered by buyer).

I did get a Upper glass in great shape - thanks to a fellow Klov'r. That is included in the sale, but i will not be mounting that for the shipment (for fear of breaking)! I will ship that separate.

Hi - Lots of requests for "the other side" (right side) photos - they are now uploaded to the album - fortunately i have the game on Magic sliders, its easy to slide around my room, no problem.

33 photos added, closeups of the CP, Back area, right side, floor, upper glass, etc.

I hope the pics answer any questions, but always feel free to ask.

Oh yes - one other note - all light fixtures were rebuilt (starters, ballasts, bulbs placed according to spec).

I plan to list this on Ebay next week, possibly Sunday / Monday evening unless i close a pre bay deal here.

Thanks.

Thanks guys. OZUBA! Good to hear from you.

My asking price was derived from exactly what i have into it. I kept a spreadsheet and itemized all orders / parts that went into. Just passing that along for anyone that wants a chance at owning one.

As for a backglass, i understand a real glass may cost 400+, if they can be found. Repros can be had for $200, and i was considering adding it, but decided to sell. If the game doesnt sell here or on Ebay, i will most likely put a repro in, and find some alternative way to free up the space here.

bump

Jon did an awsome restore job with this one. This machine definitely has been gone over
and fixed to perfection.Bump for a good restorer and seller.

list the auction here as well if it goes to ebay, I would like to see two things.

selling price

if it goes to hawaii
