Original survivor in excellent condition. Complete with original LD player and Merlin board (Space Ace) Only technical issue that needs to be addressed is the marquee light needs a new ballast and light. No big deal. If you are serious buyer, message me. Monitor was rejuvenated and has no burn in. Also an interesting note is it has the original "Showbiz Pizza" badge on the back. It also comes with Space Ace and Dragon's Lair Laserdiscs.

Original baby. But, yeah. Wow.

Maybe it's just the weird angle? Or the Little People shift was working that day.

You say it's an original survivor but it looks like someone tried to restore it. The misplaced side art is pretty obvious.

Side art placement isn't telltale of restoration. They placed them all over at the factory. Ask @swood or @DLP.

@swood would know better for sure.

I don't know if there was an exact measurement from the factory or not, but I always felt that the factory placement of the side decals was too low.

Looking at the pics, I can tell that it is an early machine (PR-7820 port hole in the front of the cab) and also it looks like the PCB was replaced at some point because that PCB doesn't have the socket for the security chip. (was removed in a later revision of the PCB)

Also, that is not the original laserdisc player. The PR-8210 was not used in Dragon's Lair. Originally, it was the PR-7820 and then it was later switched to the LD-V1000

It's true that there was no defined placement for the side art,
But there was a "ball park" range, and I'd say that low is certainly out of the range.

It is an early cabinet (serial 4317) with the kick-plate hole for locking down the PR-7820 player.
It also has a Revision-C main board, which is used with the later LD-V1000 player.
But that is not unusual because many 7820s failed and were updated with the V1000, or the game was converted to Space Ace at some point, which would also explain the newer main board.

Now if someone later switched it back to DL, that would explain the low side art.

In any case, it looks like a great condition Dragon's Lair cabinet that anyone would be proud to own.
I wonder how much Dan is asking for it.
