I have a DK Jr. board that has the Double Donkey kong upgrade done by Mikes Arcade. Was working fine but now resets. Mike has sent me another chip to install but I haven't messed with it.

$100 plus shipping and I'll throw in the new chip.

I'm not 100% certain, so don't take my word as fact, but I'm pretty sure you can plug a DK Jr board into a DK3 machine without changing anything about the wiring. DK Jr, DK3, and the two board version of DK (I think) all have the same edge connector at the top of the board. DK and DK Jr also had redundant ports on the side of the board that they were wired up with by default, but the DK3 board ONLY has the edge connector so it has to be wired up that way. You should be able to move that single edge connector to a DK Jr board and plug it in like a giant game cartridge and start playing immediately.

Again, I've never done this, so please conduct your own research before believing what I say as fact. I do own a DK Jr machine and a loose DK3 pcb that I've never hooked up because I don't have an edge-connector wiring harness, so all I can really confirm for certain is that they both have the same edge-connector on the top.

I've never actually seen a DK3 wiring harness, but I'm running with the assumption that it has to use the edge connector because I don't see any other place to plug in wires on the board.
