Boardset is in good working condition. Pulled from red DK cab 6 years ago, now needs a new home, er, cab.

$165 shipped. PM me if interested. All PMs replied to.

TKG-3. I'm assuming it has the ladder cheat. The board is labeled 'Nintendo 1981' w/o the 'of America'. That leads me to believe it's an earlier version.

Was this pulled from my Red DK cab?!? :)

BTW - Brian needs one of these.

It may have had the ROM's upgraded, the best way to tell is to look at the title screen on the game. If it says "Nintendo", it has the ladder cheat. If it says "Nintendo of America", it doesn't. The cocktails were produced with the 4 board set (still as TKG-3) long after the cheat was fixed. Reason was the 2-board set wouldn't fit in them.

You can also check the ROM tags to see if they say TKG-3 or TKG-4 on them.
The upgraded chips were TKG-4.
Since the title screen says Nintendo 1981 it is the TKG-3 ROMS.

So I take it the 4 board sets were more common in the cocktails vs the Red cabs?

John, to answer your question, it was from your cab!
