Selling a nice Dig Dug cabaret with a 60 in 1 installed. Converted by another KLOV'er. Cab has been wired JAMMA with new monitor, power supply and board. Located on Long Island $375.

If you don't get any takers, I hear there is a shortage of dog houses in the state of New York.
Those cabinets make GREAT dog houses.

Were the original harness, brick, ARII, etc. saved or sold to someone else to restore their Dig Dug cabaret (fingers crossed)?

Scott C.

Hi - i am that guy. The harness was hacked beyond use, wouldnt consider selling that.

I have the Power Brick, AR2 and PCB all for sale - PM me if you want it. I posted it as FS last month.

Thanks.

Either way, wiring it for JAMMA isn't hurting anything. Was the CP hacked to shit? I had an OG Ms Pac that I kept original inside, but wired up a separate JAMMA harness in it to make it a 60-1. The CP was untouched, and the internals were all in tact. Its not a big deal, really.

The Cp was the most hacked part - thumb screws / twist ons / electrical tape. When i got it, one of the buttons stopped working on the CP and tracing it was disgusting (simple stupid button!). This was while i was waiting for the parts from Bob R. to convert. I decided there and then to go all the way baby!

Post convert, to Trickmans point, playing a 60 in one on a mini dig dug was NOT satisfying at all. I should of known - years ago i built a Mame cab and also realized that was futile. Nothing like the original. The only good that came of it for me was experience, and knowing i didnt hurt a valuable rare cab doing it. But the insides were driving me mad (knowing it needed to be reran or something more drastic).

And that was my point. I wasn't trying to bash anyone for "ruining" a cab, although in general, collectors who respect the hobby should know that cabarets are the "rare breed" in our hobby. But aside from that, 60-in-1s are better served in full-size dynamo (or similar) standups or generic cocktails. And I am also an owner of an original Dig Dug cabaret.
