FS: complete but non-working 720 $150 (US/WV)

Thank god.
I don't want to see it parted, but I didn't want to buy it really right now either.
I'm glad someone stepped up.

If anyone else on the east cost has a 720 that they would let go from 150 let me know. I'll carry that sumnabitch home on my back if need be.

It wasn't an attack or anything. Literally, the path he has to maneuver games means he will probably never bring that game down to be physically next to the other 720. He has a picture of the 'path of death' that has been posted here before.

Yep, that's it. Now there is more railing at the top and a gate, which makes it worse. The railing/gate has to be removed.

Man, I'm glad I just have to roll a game 10 feet from my car, through double doors, and right into its final spot. :D

Okay, I guess I'll break the news. I have the 720, sans cabinet. The cabinet is in trash bags in Shardian's driveway. You guys didn't really think I'd restore another 720 did you?

Anyway, PM for parts. Just about everything but the monitor is available at this point. I'm keeping the PCB's for now. I have a very nice joystick available, and a CP with a brand new but defective overlay. Might be good for someone who isn't too picky. I already got a new replacement overlay.

On the bright side, I have made some progress on my 4 year 720 project. I'll get some updated pics soon!

What a waste.

What was the point of buying it to be saved, if it wasn't going to be saved?
He didn't need your help to part it out lol, I'm sure he could have done that himself.

I didn't buy it to save it, I bought it for parts. ;)

The cabinet was pretty bad. The front few inches was swollen quite a bit wider than the molding, and the front panel was about 1.5" thick. It wasn't worth saving. I felt no guilt whatsoever while I was sledging it, and 720 is my grail game.

I'll soon be posting some updated pics of my good 720 that's being restored, so it'll help offset this tragic loss. ;)
