Methinks Wade can provide a picture of 2 of them side-by-side....
damn, I was ready to burn some vacation time and head to WV for the price.
If you knew the path a game took to get to where that photo could happen, you would understand why that isn't happening.![]()
*thwack*
Wade...care to return volley?![]()
It wasn't an attack or anything. Literally, the path he has to maneuver games means he will probably never bring that game down to be physically next to the other 720. He has a picture of the 'path of death' that has been posted here before.
Okay, I guess I'll break the news. I have the 720, sans cabinet. The cabinet is in trash bags in Shardian's driveway. You guys didn't really think I'd restore another 720 did you?
Anyway, PM for parts. Just about everything but the monitor is available at this point. I'm keeping the PCB's for now. I have a very nice joystick available, and a CP with a brand new but defective overlay. Might be good for someone who isn't too picky. I already got a new replacement overlay.
On the bright side, I have made some progress on my 4 year 720 project. I'll get some updated pics soon!

I agree. Sad.What a waste.
I didn't buy it to save it, I bought it for parts.
The cabinet was pretty bad. The front few inches was swollen quite a bit wider than the molding, and the front panel was about 1.5" thick. It wasn't worth saving. I felt no guilt whatsoever while I was sledging it, and 720 is my grail game.
I'll soon be posting some updated pics of my good 720 that's being restored, so it'll help offset this tragic loss.
