I've been screwing with this game for a few weeks now, and I am frikking tired of it!

Good news:
- it is complete with an additional 'spare parts' set of boards.
-I have repinned the power connectors, replaced the switcher, and dealt with wiring issues. Power appears to be fine now.
-Game has been completely disassembled and everything thoroughly cleaned
- Monitor works.
- cabinet has original gray vinyl in surprisingly good condition.

Bad News:
- The boards are all over the place in regards to working status. It will go from booting and in attract mode, to not doing shit. Currently it will go through all of the self test screens, but will not boot into the actual game.
- Rotary controller does not appear to register in game, but that may just be a board issue. I can tell you the optic board has been repaired...badly.
- The cabinet needs a bit of work. the front panel is swollen and needs replaced. The sides are fine, but the dowel connections have started to separate. The game needs to be clamped and reglued once a front panel is made.

Show up with $150, and it is yours. If noone claims it within 2 weeks, I will part it out. I would hate to do that, but that's life huh? That's how sick of this machine I am.

I'll also consider trades. I need a working 19" K7000 medium res monitor chassis badly... very badly. Have a crappy working 100% jamma cab you want to offload? I'd consider it...but I ain't driving for it. Cash is preferred.

Sorry to hear your project turned into a mess. Hopefully someone will pick it up and get it up and running. Someone, bring this back to life!!

It doesn't have to be a mess. 90% of the work goes to fighting non-working board sets. If I wasn't a cheap ass, I would just throw down money on a tested working board set. Then the game would be working. No, I'd rather waste 40 hours in futility trying to get a bad board set working with minimal board level work tools and minimal board level knowledge. :D

Damn... If you were closer I would take it even if it was possessed at that price! Good Luck on the sale.

Bump.
Game will most likely be parted to local collectors if no one can 100% commit to buying this in the next week.

Like I said before, I would prefer to get this to someone who wants it whole. I'm also getting antsy to clear up the square footage this game is occupying.

Post that thing on Craigslist. Hell, if I lived in Pittsburgh, I would make the drive for the machine at that price. I would be willing to drive even further for it even. Unfortunately just not to West Virginia as it is a tad bit far for me. ;) I'm just saying that KLOV doesn't have the visibility needed sometimes and someone up there might be willing to make the drive for your asking price and keep it whole.

How the hell hasnt this sold yet? Im shocked. Someone needs to step up and save this game. Rather it go to a KLOVer than a CL douche. Oh, good luck with the sale BTW! :)

I'm interested....but not sure I want to risk the divorce. ;) This is a big time trip for a non-grail game for me. I don't think I ever even played it. People of KLOV speak up...is this game that much fun? Seems like it would be hard to emulate properly in mame w/o the controller....

Sharidan...you don't have a trip to NJ planned, do you?
