FS(~Chicago): Robotron project, ugly, dirty, cheap

I don't think I am lying when I say, "fokes, it don't get much uglier than this".

Bad/Ugly:
Marquee has a big scratch under the title going all the way across,
PCB & metal plate missing,
no locks, keys, manuals,
front glass has been painted over in the back to try to cover the scratching,
under marquee wire speaker cover is missing,
wrong CPO,
buttons are not original,
joysticks are crummy,
plastic CPO protector installed, so some extra screw holes in the CP,
monitor is dead,
game is extremely dirty,
front left bottom is beat up pretty bad,
extra transformer installed, so obviously wiring around transformer area has been hacked.

I could go on and on, I'm sure.

Good:
It's a Robotron with side art.

I got this out of Canada many years ago. I am facing the realization that I'll NEVER get to it. I would normally just part this out and dump, but since it's a Robo, I'm offering it here first in case anyone wants to fix it all up. It will be a big project. Or a 48-n-1. I don't think anyone would blame you if you converted this thing.

For sale and pick up in Evanston, IL (first suburb north of Chicago). $72 obo. Parting out if not claimed by next weekend.

Any other questions, let me know.

If I could find a ride for it up to Milwaukee I'd take it. Anyone coming this way?

if I didn't have like 600 other projects going right now, I'd be psychotic enough I think to tackle this. hate to see it parted though, I think this could be restored nicely.
