I've got a Chicago Coin Co. "Gold Record" pinball machine for sale. Currently, it is not working. No idea what's wrong with it because I've never worked on an EM before. I hear they're easy to work on, but I've never done it. It was actually working when I got it, but then it wouldn't end a game 9just kept giving more and more balls), and now it just won't start a game.
When I got this machine, its playfield was completely trashed. We repainted it, cleared it, and cleaned/polished it. It has new rubbers, new lights. It looks great now. It's not perfect, but it's about as good as one of these old CC's will get.

I don't have a picture of the whole machine right now, but here are a couple before/after playfield pics:

I'll take $150 OBO.

I wish I could get it to work, but I just don't know where to start. If anyone local wants to lend a hand and getting working with me, that'd be great. Otherwise, i just don't have room for a nonworking game.

Thanks!

If you do decide to do anything evil like that :)

I'd be interested in buying the backglass. I've actually been looking for that glass for a while now, I have a machine with the glass cracked in half!

Really nice job you did on the playfield. I wish I had the patience to do that, it'd take forever! I've repainted a couple cabinets, that's about as far as I've taken restoring a pinball machine; you can literally do as much or as little as you want, you could put 100's of hours into 1 machine.
