FS: Championship Sprint & Double Dragon - SF Bay Area

I had one of those "put things into perspective/get my priorities straight" moments over the weekend and, with my family moving later this year, we're going to be purging like mad. This includes selling some of my games among other things. It's a tough shame (especially CS which I just picked up and had the monitor worked on), but you do what you have to do.

This also means I'm semi-leaving the hobby (which I should have done a couple of months ago to be honest) until things settle down at the end of the year or possibly later. I'll still be around the forum and I'll be at CAX.

Championship Sprint - $300 - SOLD!

Double Dragon EDIT: Double Dragon no longer for sale. Fortunately, I'll be shrink wrapping it and storing it in my garage until the move. :)

- Complete and working.
- Monitor serviced by Prairied1ll0 (cap kit, rejuvenation, replaced flyback).
- Wico red and blue balltop joysticks.
- JAMMA wiring completely rewired from the PCB edge connector to the cabinet wiring hub.
- Cut and painted a new top marquee bracket. It needs holes drilled to screw in. For now, it's just resting on top with tape.
- Cabinet is in great shape and clean. Variant side art is a bit faded but looks good. Corner damage on bottom right side.
BONUS: I'll also include a WWF Wrestlefest PCB that you can easily swap in and play.

Haha. Hilarious.

I got a couple of PMs already of well wishes from a few guys. I appreciate the support!

I just want to confirm that all is good on the home front and I'm not selling for financial reasons. I just didn't want to get into details about personal stuff going on. It's more to lighten our load for the move and get our place ready to either rent or sell. Long story short, with the day-to-day we've been going through with my father-in-law's battle with cancer, it's just given me a lot of perspective on where I should be focusing my thoughts, time, money, effort, etc.

I still love these games and I'm keeping a few. But you guys know how it is, games come and go, but you're never out of it for good. I'm sure Jow knows what I'm talking about.

Amen, brother.

I'm slowly getting back into the buying aspect, and my boys are getting big enough to play these things so my love for the hobby is greater now than it ever has been. Its funny, I'm actually trying to buy back the cabs I had before. It will all come full circle one of these days.

As long as you work it out with your shipping provider and they do all the wrapping and loading, then I'm cool with shipping it.

It will need to be wrapped well. As I said, the left side is coming apart on the bottom, so it has a higher risk of damage in transit. It held up fine for the guy who sold it to me without any wrapping, but he strapped it down and only drove like a half hour.

Can you shoot a few pics of the bad spot?

Good call. I should have done that earlier.

I'll post pics of all damaged areas. It's mainly the right bottom corners, left bottom side coming apart, a couple of chips on the front. For a 25 year old game that's never been repaired or restored, I'm surprised it's not in worse condition to be honest. It looks fine if you have it in a row. I wasn't planning on doing any repairs any time soon as it holds up just fine during play/

I'm at work now, but I'll do it tonight.

No hurry on the pics. I just got a few quotes and it sounds like it'll be over $500 to palletize/ship. Too steep for me- sorry man.

Fuel costs are fucking everything up right now. It was $455 for my wife to fly from San Jose to San Diego last week. Thats asinine.
