The sides are original and in nice shape overall as well as the front kickplate area. The following was done:

  • Matt Osborn's Super Fantabulous High Score Save Kit Installed!
  • Installed new control panel overlay
  • Installed new pepper buttons and 1/2 player buttons
  • Inside next to the monitor was repainted black
  • Interior of the cabinet was cleaned as well as the power supply
  • Monitor was recapped
  • New T-molding
  • New light fixture installed
The marquee on this example is the original and is in really nice shape. I am asking $800 for Burgertime. The only games I would consider trading for would be a Sega Super GT or a Sega Star Wars Trilogy (The Standup version). I am in Richmond, VA.

Well that was quick, my kids caught wind of my decision to sell and emphatically begged that I do NOT sell Mario Bros (Burgerime is OK with them). So MB is off the block.

i would consider if your BT was marked at todays economy =\

Time for you to get out of the hobby, brother. Or, leave the big boy games to others, and pick up junker projects.

Thats a nice OG Burgertime cab. Its priced well.

I think it's over priced by about 2X. Should be in the $400.00 range. Lets face in, its not RESTORED!

I hope you get your asking price, don't get me wrong, it's in really nice shape!

Restored doesn't always = more money.

There are tons of people in this hobby that prefer unmolested OG NICE cabs. Didn't you see the recent Multi-Williams thread, where someone restored one? It looked great, but they painted over NICE original artwork, and people were bummed out about it. It would have been worth much more with that awesome artwork there had he tried to sell it down the line.

The OPs Burgertime is in GREAT original shape. Will he get $800 HERE? Probably not. This is the world of cheap asses though.

YAY! I finally got hit by the KLOV price police.

Thanks, I appreciate your comment.

Jow, thanks for the defense dude.

I'll second that. The Burgertime is priced correctly.

Free bump for a nice looking cab.

Thanks :)

I like original games as much as restored ones. Some people don't like completely restored games. You wouldn't want to know what I would ask if this were completely restored :)

If burgertime sells for $800 I'd be selling mine. For the work thats been put into it I'd say $600 max is more accurate. Either way, best of luck with the sale.

And if it doesn't, no biggie. It's a nice, clean, fully working game that I have no problem keeping. I think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one that's cheaper.

Maybe I should have worded it, "is 800 set in stone?"

Didnt mean to come across as police, I have just seen a few of these on good shape sell for 400-500 in the last 6 months.

If "RESTORED" means painting over that nice original sideart, then I'd say that would subtract about $200 from its current value.

And I would think that for someone who considers this a "grail" game, they shouldn't have much of a problem shelling out 800 clams for an example this nice....

Thanks Matt! I forgot to mention that I have your high score kit installed in it.
