Alright, before anybody asks about the Quantum it is tentatively sold.
Here is a description of the Boxing Bugs:
I powered it up last night and heard some game sounds and some squeeling. The spot killer comes on in the deflection board. After about 2 minutes of being powered up one of the resistors in the low voltage part of the deflection board started smoking. I checked the 5 volt line to the PCB set which was fine. I did not leave it powered up long enough to check the 25 volt or 6.3 AC lines from the power supply. The monitor does not appear to have had any previous repair work done on it.
The cabinet is pretty solid except for the top which has had moisture. I do not see any moisture damage on the bottom of the cabinet. Even the back door is solid.
I cleaned up the cabinet slightly. I did not put a lot of time into it. There is some rust on the marquee brackets and on the bolts that hold the control panel down.
There is a broken spot on the inside part of the front corner as seen in the pic. And there is some ruffling around the edges of the cabinet.
The game is complete, including manuals, except for the coin box and lid.
This is a very restorable cabinet. Fix the front corner, replace the top board, Bob's K6100 repair kit, and a multimeter should get you in business.
I had rather sell this to someone who will repair it versus me having to part it out. I got a wad of offers for parts from the Quantum but I sold it to someone who made me a fair offer for the complete game. He got it over the others who PM'd me "how much do you want?"
