FS:Bezel for Nintendo Dual Screen Monitor Cabs like Punch-Out!!

Brand new plexiglass reproduction bezel (front screen) for Nintendo dual monitor cabinets. Fits Punch-Out!!, Super Punch Out, Play Choice Dual Monitor and Arm Wrestling without the glass conversion kit. I'm relisting these in this thread because the original thread is very long. There are however many excellent reviews in the original one so here is a link. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=90951&page=10

This is a top quality professional reproduction with the original border laser cut in film on the inside of the plexi. The plexi is thicker than most and the tint and clarity has been described as enhancing the monitors colors. Up until now, you could have a first class restoration but have been stuck with an old, scratched bezel. Finish your project with the best plexi reproduction bezel available.

My fabricator is making these one sheet at a time (6 bezels). The plexi was on backorder but he received one today. If your interested in one (or more), PM me, and when I reach 6 units I'll PM you back and ask for payment. You may pay by paypal or by check.

The cost is $85 each plus $15 for safe packing and shipping via UPS. Shipping for 2 or three units to the same address will be $20 total.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Charlie

Spoke to my fabricator today and he's making 6 more tomorrow. One is already spoken for so there will be 5 available for immediate shipping. If these are slow to go, I'm sure this will be the last run. Let me know if you want one.

I just listed a bezel on ebay that was returned to the fabricator because it has a 2 inch distortion at the bend. During the first run, the front masking was left on the glass and caused a slight diffusion at the bend. This one was markedly worse than the others and actually had some bubbling. This was corrected in later runs.

It does not affect game play and the rest of the plexi is perfect. If this won't bother you, it might be worth a look. Here's a link.

Sh&t Chuck, you should have told me I could have kept it for $25... that's a steal even with the bubbled area! I would have stored it "just in case" I happened upon a Super Punch-Out!! or another Punch-Out!!

Just so everyone knows, the bubbled area is NOT in the field of view and you do not notice it when the lights are out and the game is on. The biggest reason I returned it was a)Chuck twisted my arm over and over because he wanted me to be 100% happy and b)I'm a bit anal. :)

Jeff,

I was talking to Luke about the last 5 that we shipped today and the idea just popped into my head. It's just sitting at his shop and I knew other than the bend it's otherwise perfect. It was a shame that it was just sitting there. It should be on a game that has a scratched plexi. I think it's going to go higher. Already has a bid, but it will be interesting.

Were you able to get rid of the distortion/blurriness at the bend completely on the later runs?

Tom

Hi Tom,
Yes. When the bend is made with the front masking on, the glass takes on the properties of the adhesive at the bend when it is heated then cooled. He removes the tape at the bend before heating now.

Less than 2 days left on this ebay auction and it's still at $25. Looks like it's going to be sold for a song!
