FS: Battlezone PCB Set $210 Shipped:

Fresh from my workbench and burned in.

Two of the most common failure points have been addressed for improved reliability and X-Y centering adjustments were added:

1) All eight of the 24 pin ROM sockets on the Vector Generator Board have been replaced with quality dual wipe IC sockets.

2) Both of the 24 position interconnect headers on the AUX and AVG PCBs (J17 and J19) have been replaced with brand new ones instead of just reflowing the old oxidized ones.

3) X and Y centering potentiometers were added. Helps centering the image with your cardboard frame.

Other Comments - Pricing reflects 2 minor issues that do not affect operation but are mentioned here for full disclosure:

1) One ground edge card contact on the AVG PCB was repaired.

2) Discoloration under K2 from the failed overheated chip on the AUX PCB. Both the socket and the 2901 IC were replaced.

I can sell you plenty of non working ones for less :)

(although even those are going for $100+ shipped on eBay)

I can't even recall seeing a working Red Baron board-set for sale in recent history. I'm still looking for an AUX board working or not....anyone ???

Sale is pending for this boardset.

I will post another when it is ready.

Best,

Bill

How different are the BZ and Red Baron boards? Not just rom swaps, I take it?
