FS Bartop Cabinet Kits

Just a suggestion, but a few pictures of a comleted unit with control panel, marquee and artwork would probably boost interest.

You are asking guys who pick up fully working ms pacs for $200 and
asteroids for $250 if they want to spend $135 on $10 worth of wood?

Or am I misunderstanding, do they come with monitor and joysticks and buttons and such?

Certainly your product looks very nice with good attention to detail.

You'll have a lot better luck on another forum, for sure...

Those look kinda cool, though. But way overpriced.

I have sold many cabs on other forums.. They ,like myself like new machines in mint condition, not beat up cabs that I'm embarrassed to have in my garage.

Making lots of friends here I see!
I love my beat up, cig burned, old arcade games and I'll guess that a few others here like their cabs with the "broken in" look and feel as well. BYOAC is where you will get the most mileage outta this...

I don't see any reason to give the guy a hard time about it.

I hope he sells the hell out of them, but it will be hard here because... well... we're some cheap bastards here. lol

Thanks... Everywhere you go the price police come out to ruin the party. If your unhappy with the price either negotiate the price or don't buy it..

Most of the people on this forum are collectors, collectors generally collect and you can't really collect a brand new machine. Now old dirty pool-hall machines you can collect. LOL

Can we stick to the topic please... This thread is about selling new bartop cabs not your philosophy on colecting arcade games.. Thank you

Pete,

Your best shot is to post pictures of a game that was actually built using this kit. Since you appear to be offering wood and throwing in t-molding, that doesn't help people understand what is missing. It isn't clear how these cabinets are used to make completed games.

What is needed to mount a marquee?

What about a bezel for the monitor?

Got a picture of the insides of a completed unit showing how well a PC power supply or switcher can fit in them as well as something like a multi board?

I'm likely going to just design and built my own style of bar top, but there is no way I would order a kit without the above information. What you posted looks like it might work well, but leaves way too much to the imagination.

Not trying to derail again... But he was simply responding to your statement of "not beat up cabs that I'm embarrassed to have in my garage." Don't throw a punch and then play the innocent martyr.

But as stated, good luck to you in your endeavors..
