Picked this up a few weeks ago, was going to run with a theme for my machines, but I got a STUPID awesome deal on a Pinbot...now something has to go to make room!
Game has a beautiful playfield, IMO. The last owner really took care of it. Some well placed mylar has prevented a lot of the normal damage this machine seems to gather near the center area. There is some minor wear around inserts that just needs some black paint to touch up, but for the most part, this thing is about as clean as you can ask for playfield wise. Inside of cabinet is very clean too, the guy was pretty thorough. Had a bunch of older SS games in very nice condition. Anyways...rest of the machine is "alright" cosmetically. The cabinet's got some wear and tear, but paint on this machine is very basic and could be touched up, or blocked off with painters tape and restenciled that way if you wanted to go the Ghetto Restore route. The backglass is what I would call a 5/10. It's cracking and lifting on the bottom, I'm afraid to try and fix it myself. I've never used triple thick, and I'm frankly worried I will do more harm than good, so I'm passing the buck on that issue. Sorry. :\ You can see in the pictures I'm going to post how it looks from the front when the machine is on.
Previous owner said the power board was recapped, all I can say is that I feel that there's some minor power issues, the GI flickers a bit when coils activate or you hit the flippers. Seems to me it's not getting steady power, but everything plays and works, no wierd scoring behavior or anything that would lead me to believe that the boards themselves aren't getting adequate voltage.
A few typical bulbs out here and there that I haven't been bothered to replace, just too busy and it doesn't frankly bother me that much. If it bothers you, I can toss you a handful of bulbs on the way out, lol. Left flipper was chattering, but switch adjustment has fixed it. Needs new switches to more permanently resolve the issue, but again..old as this machine is..no big shock there. Could use some new nylon stars if you know how to get the old ones out without damaging the inserts.
How's that for full disclosure?
Going to have the wife list this up on CL for 600$ later on, this price is via KLOV only, and I'll be more willing to negotiate with people here.
Pics to follow. Send me a message, make an offer, I need it gone. Just keep in mind that I really don't want to come down too much further on this price. Would consider trades for other pinball-related stuff if you want the cash price to come down a good bit. I'm really short on parts right now so I would even consider mundane stuff like new pinballs, Williams flippers, etc towards it LOL.
And no, this price is not KLOV Price Police approved.
Crap knew i forgot something. the credit/ball displays arent working entirely and the 3p/4p displays are out. I just became more negotiable on the price.
