I really hate to sell this but I don't think I will ever find the time to work on it. Pictures:

Game is dirty but complete. Powers on sometimes, really needs to be gone through. The cab is swelled a bit on the sides although its not soft, you can see the expansion on both sides of the t-molding. Maybe the t-molding shrunk? ;)

The bezel is flaking, marquee looks nice. Control Panel is pretty clean.

Asking $350.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat if you were willing to pallet it up, and I'd pay for freight to Florida.

If you ship via NAVL they will supply a pallet if you ask for it.

I pulled the game out tonight and like before it wouldn't boot. I reseated all of the connectors and the game boots up fine now! Solenoids do not work and switches are having issues. The monitor works but takes a while to warm up so that needs to be serviced. So this is a almost functional game versus a completely dead one.

I deleted all of the pictures in the gallery I posted initially and took some pictures of the game as it stands right now. I cleaned it up a little bit. Also here is a video of the game running:

For the record I shipped DJDNS's Baby Pac from Virginia to Tampa via NAVL along with 2 other games last week. The cost was LITERALLY double to triple what it would've cost me if the games were put on a pallet and strapped. I shipped two Pins to Virginia last week and it was the same weight as what was shipped back via NAVL and cost me $233. NAVL cost me $600. It was the first time I used NAVL because I normally would never ship a game in.

In the future I would gladly offer the seller an extra $100 to get cardboard, shrinkwrap, ratchet straps and a pallet from home depot/walmart/sams club. It would've saved me $300 to $400. The cost of NAVL doubled the cost of the Baby Pac I bought.

In addition, freight is 2 days from Virgina to Florida. With that said NAVL is telling me a scheduled date of 9/20 (15 days from pickup!).

NAVL is great is a great way for a non-able bodied seller to move a game, or if you have to get it out of the basement and have no other means -- but other than that...You're just asking to pay more money unnecessarily.

I use R&L Carriers or Forward Air. However, if you use freightquote.com you should find a competitive carrier that is in your area. Some freight carriers are better for certain regions because they have a lane and hubs that they concentrate on.

Some don't use freight classes too so that will help you get a better price. Just use freightquote.com is what I recommend. UPS/Fedex both do freight but there published rates are really expensive unless you have talked to a salesperson there. They will usually discount their rates by 50% once you are a customer with an "account". If you just quoted them over the phone without having an account set up it's going to be more than NAVL.

I understand your gripes and it is definitely cheaper to ship freight, but that assumes that the seller can pallet it and transport it to a drop off point. I can handle the palleting part but transportation is a definite issue, I only have an SUV.

I did work with one guy that bought a pin from me and I cardboard wrapped it and the dock palleted it for me. That was like pulling teeth though because the buyer thought he had that arranged and I almost headed back home with the game because the shipper didn't want to stap it to a pallet since it wasn't boxed up. Everything went fine though and the game got to MN from VA with no issues.

I didn't mean to hijack your thread about shipping, but most carriers will go to a home. For example R&L charges an extra $30 but the pro tip is if you put that it's a company(not a personal name) billing doesn't realize it's a home and the driver doesn't have the ability to change the bill (atleast in my experience).

I ship freight for my work (printing company) a few times a week and the pinball/arcade stuff has been shipping out of there as well so I've got a system to it.

Good luck on your Baby Pac, I'm scared to see what happens when I get mine. If yours doesn't sell I may buy it and ship it for parts :)
