FS: Atomiswave Carts Metal Slug 6, Samurai Shodown 6, FOTNS

Hey Bill, aren't these Atomiswave carts bootlegs? The pictures you have posted have the same serial numbers as the carts on the Xing Li Software Design Company's website.
The bootleg Atomiswave carts all have the same serial numbers. 3400167 for FOTNS, 3500510 for MS6 and 3000086 for SSVI as do the one's you have posted. I think if you're going to sell bootleg carts at least you could post that in your listing.

FYI, the bootleg carts are $50 each shipped from China.

He is correct they are bootlegs and $50 was being generous as you can get them for $40 shipped, but they are bootlegs.

I am also pretty sure the FotNS did not get an English release as I have not seen a real english cartrdge outside of the bootlegs. The Japanese one will have a Jasrac sticker on it (and it is about $100 in Japan nowdays anyway).

Most Atomiswave carts do have a holographic sticker on them (so if you buy expensive games like Dolphin Blue and Rumble Fish 2 then it will have one) but MS6 does not so it is hard to tell if you buy one if it is a boot.

There are ways you can tell a bootleg from an original.

All real Atomiswave carts have rounded die cut corners on the label, they are square cut on the bootlegs

The printed number on the cartridge will look like it is printed on a legit cart rather then smooth and looking part of the sticker.

It is worth making a note of all the serial numbers of bootlegs and then you can spot them a mile off.

Been a while now, although due the prices of certain games holding up there are more of them around and it is too easy to buy a bootleg without realising it. Hopefully no one on here sold them too you.

wow, I didn't know they made bootleg atomiswave games either. I'm going to check mine out tonight.

my only atomiswave cartridge is that Fist of the North Start game; i'll check tonight if it's a legitimate cartridge, I imported it for a high price from Japan about two years ago; I'm going to be pissed off if it's a bootleg!!!!!

The Japanese games are more likely to be legit, esp if you got the manual and gubbins with it, the Japanese version may have one or two stickers on the cartridge, both should say Jasrac on them.

Damn now im scared to buy these on ebay. I was about to fork out a couple hundred on Fist of the NOrth star game...

So how do these compare to the original? Is there any difference?

I just opened my carts up and they're all on Sammy pcb's with no evidence of aftermarket soldering. Can someone post pics of a fotns, ms6 or ss6 cart opened up? I'm not 100% convinced these are bootlegs...

They are commercial bootlegs rather then some backstreet conversion, and they have probably made thousands of the things. They do have the Sammy markings printed on the board, however they also have the big chip markings filed off and a Jtag pinout. The official MS6 rom has no jtag and will have Sega printed on two of the chips.

This picture shows two bootlegs next to the official MS6 PCB (and notice that the serial number is different on the cart and it has nice rounded edges to the label).

Not to sound like a DICK or anything. Or maybe I do.

But do you guys also shit on peoples posts when they list Multi Jamma , Multi Neo and Multi Capcom boards for sale? Even Older Arcade bootlegs?

Some of those SNK games on the Neo Geo Multi Carts are newer then the Atomiswave games.

Seems to me a bit hypocritical.

If you are going to do it to someone selling "BOOTLEGS" blow up everyones spot not just who you think you should.

So next time you see someone post a UNOFFICIAL PRODUCT list where to get it from and post as much bad press about it as possible. Because that is trendy to do.

Just do not single out one kind of product. Take them all on otherwise you are a hypocrite.

Multijamas and such are known to be bootlegs
Random games are not announced as such.

Nobody wants to pay big money for a game that will turn out to be a fake worth 20$. As for those atomiswave bootlegs, I'm pretty sure I got owned! I paid 200$ for a Fist of the North STar cart, and i'm pretty sure its the same serial number as the one known to be a bootleg..

Dude. Nobody wants to buy a bootleg unknowingly. Get over yourself. If you want to deceive people without them knowing go somewhere else.

Dude just doesn't seem to "get it". No one here is looking to rip each other off. Be honest about what you have or GTFO...and don't let the door-knob hit ya where the good lord split ya...
