FS: Atari STAR WARS

Matt, I'm not sure what upsets me more... the fact that you are selling this or the fact that I am not the one that can buy it. :)

Seriously, Iowa! What's going on here? Ben not being able to afford it, is bad enough. I think the part of you getting out, is the most upsetting.

I sense a great disturbance in the Force.

This. I'm sure.

Actually no, I'm more concerned with you selling it. Sucks to see someone leave something behind that they at one point loved and got excited about. But I'm sure you have something filling in that hole to replace it... I hope. Sure I would LOVE that game in my gameroom. It's a great game and an awesome cab. But really, dude, I just hope that everything is cool on your end.

Yeah, this is the angle I was coming from. Sacrificed the entire PC-10 collection for this killer machine and now it's to the curb, like a $5 crack-whore! What gives, Iowa?!?

What problem did you have when switching in between games?

Does it do this?

If so, it's not your PCB having the problem...

No when I had it installed it would either switch perfectly or nothing at all would come up. Kind of random but it never had any type of glitching like that.

I know, right? Space is a really big issue at the moment, combined with the fact that I have bills to pay, etc. Plus, paying off debt > games at the moment. I still have my autograph collection though. They dont take up much space. :D

Did you put the game in test mode to see if it was giving an error at a particular rom. It sounds like you are right about bad sockets and you should be able to find someone on here to fix that for you. MY ESB was giving me the buisiness over a 3P socket reading bad video I think. Had a couple suspicious sockets replaced and bingo. It was up and running again. I would think surely someone on here would do the repair at a decent price.

I can't believe this. So, I just spend almost my last dime on a downpayment on a new car... and then this comes along!

Dude, look at my photo... I dress up like a frickin' stormtrooper.... and live about 2hr.40min. from you. Hell, I was raised in Iowa!

I don't have the skills to fix it, and I'm $630 short on cash. I wish I had three months to save up and a good friend with sodering skills. Damn Damn Damn.

Don't suppose anybody wants to have me buy it for them? I'll hold it here in Nebraska if you want to swing through and play? LOL.
Good luck Dude. I guess it's just not my day in the sun.

Yeah I played the game right before I took the kit out too. It played great, I should have left well enough alone I guess.

Sucks man. But, i'm not in a huge rush or anything, in fact I have been meaning to post this for a month and just didn't get around to it, so if it's something that you want to work with me on i'm fine with a payment plan or whatever. I'll work with you on that.

You really need to list what monitor it has as most SW nuts will pay a little extra/prefer an Amplifone over a Wells. (Selling point)
With this having an ESB kit even if you have a couple of bunk sockets you're asking price is decent. Doesn't matter if someone bought one for $350 or in my case I just sold mine with an ESB kit and Amplifone for $1200 today. So take a $100 off if you have a Wells monitor and now a board issue knock another $100 off. Yep that's where your price is. Personally I think you should take the 10 minutes to put new sockets in there. I think that'd help you nab another $150 if it's working.

i always preach price is subjective and I guess each area differs. Good luck to you on your sale.
