Heh everyone..... up for sale is my ATARI QUANTUM VECTOR arcade machine. This is not a repro cab, this is the real deal! This machine is in real nice condition for its age and rarity.
I will try to describe this cab as best as possible.....
CABINET - artwork is beautiful and unfaded. Id rate the overall cab a 8/10 condition wise. It does have the usual oranging on the white edges of the sideart in certain places (very normal for atari cabs). Front artwork is very nice with no drill holes. cab is serial # 372.
CONTROL PANEL - overlay is original and has never been replaced. has a few small blemishes, just couldnt get myself to ever replace it (since i do like things original over repros). still a very nice control panel. track ball is a brand new HAPP setup (translucent ball, plays great). i will also include the original black trackball setup too.
MONITOR - its got the amplifone monitor in there. its always worked great, up until i moved recently. game does play, but screen tends to get a little wavy and jittery. it definitely needs a CAP KIT rebuild. game is still very playable. serial numbers on the amp and pcb board do not match the cabinet serial number. inner cardboard bezel is missing.
MARQUEE - original glass marquee, does have one blemish top middle of marquee but not bad at all.
I am selling this game for SOLD!!! cash pick up here in Southern Cailfornia. I would much rather have the game picked up locally, but if i dont get much local interest i will be glad to ship the game. I would def be afraid to ship this beauty of a game. Serious Inquiries Only Please.
Please shoot me a pm if you are interested. thanks! chris
here's my photobucket album with all pics of the cab-
