1976 Atari F-1 projection driving game. Atari's first game license from Namco -- this game was likely built by Namco for Atari. It is complete other than the shifter, which is just a single switch high/low so you can make anything work easily. There is a crack in the plex covering the screen which will need to be replaced. It's just clear plex -- the actual screen is mylar mounted behind the plex and it's in perfect shape. Otherwise there is no damage and it's in nice cosmetic condition.
It's large, but very lightweight and easy to move single-handedly; the fiberglass car splits from the screen. I know it needs the main lamp replaced, a common 50w halogen. It's complete and dirty inside and I've never plugged it in. I haven't touched it in a decade and I'd like the space back..
The car is buried so I didn't take a pic of it, but it's in the same condition as the one in this pic (taken today).
old pic from inside the working machine:
I only want $150 firm.. in central NJ.
