up for sale is one of my asteroids machines.

She still has the vending tax amusement stickers on the upper right of the marquee.

Shes in overall great condition for being many years old, some small scratches through the side art which is original, the control panel is original with virtually no wear. The back door of the machine still has the paper stapled to it with dip switch settings.

This machine needs a monitor re-build kit. only the lower 1/2 of the screen is visible. Pulling the board and swapping it into my other asteroids machine and it plays great.

Come by and check it out if you would like, i'm in Omaha Nebraska. E-mail me if you're interested in the machine. [email protected]

I'm looking to get $900 out of it.

See the following pics, if you would like more email me and I can take some more.

OK, you have a vertical deflection issue with that monitor.

Pull the deflection board out and reflow the solder on the header pins and it will probably fix that right up.

That being said, even if you do that and the monitor is 100% working, you are asking 900 bucks for a 300 dollar game, in my opinion.

YMMV.

Thanks Russ,

I will see If I can't get it up and going, then adjust the price. :)

Thank you for the insight!

It's a crying shame, as Asteroids is a great classic, but there are so many of them out there that 300, maybe 350 is about the best you can hope for unless they are absolutely mint.

I have an AD upright and an Asteroids CT, and that's just the way it is.
