FS: Asteroids - Non working monitor- Owl Coin door - Columbus

Nice conditioned but non working monitor Asteroids for sale in Columbus. Was stoked about getting this cleaned up and in the arcade but i need to finance another game. Any resonable offer accepted. I have personally done NO work to this machine. Cosmetically it will need t-molding *given on most machines* and a nice bath along with a properly cut back door as the back door is about 3 inches too small.

Did i say one of the baddest coin doors I have ever seen, the owl version!

Pictures to come later.

I love broken asteroids. How much?

Shoot me an offer. I messed with it tonight. Here is the general info about the machine:

Couldn't get pictures...too dark out when i decided to play with it. Pictures didnt turn out so i will get some tomorrow.

Weird as it has no cardboard bezel but has a star castle overlay??? Figured someone converted this so i took it apart and saw asteroids burn. Got game to play blind after rigging back door switch. Game board is asteroids and plays blind.

Neck glow on monitor and what sounds like a slight hum but no picture. Light on deflector board does not light up. Checked fuses, same thing. Read some posts regarding this monitor G05801 and really dont wanna go down the path of beating myself up. Are deflector boards easy to obtain?

This game is awesome condition. I took simple green and magic eraser (ones i bought from ebay) to the control panel it shines!

Bumpage for the day crew. Im not really in a rush to sell but if your looking for a very nice asteroids that will only need t-molding and dust cleaned on the outside and maybe a repaint on the owl coin door then this is your machine!

I have a working deflection board for that monitor if someone buys the game and needs a working deflection board. Did you try adjusting the brightness ? Maybe it's just turned down. Also, the light should be off. Old style Asteroids are the best and it would be great to see that one saved.

Even though we have bumped heads in past, im all about saving this thing. Im not an asteroids fan but the cabinet is just too nice and i would like to put it in the arcade for variety.

With that being said, once i get done with my kitchen project i will be spending sometime with this. Im really stoked about how nice it looks but yea the monitor issue has me a little scared about repairing it.

The deflection board has some home soldering work done to it. Is it safe to pull the board as i figured this is nothing more then the neckboard for vectors?

Thanks

Asteroids

I would love to save it too. All I need is a price. Or if you want to repair the monitor, it is easy. PM me and I will tell you how.

Seems like i totally missed this but it's an old Lunar Lander cabinet.
