I have a Mame machine I built a few years ago I am selling as I need space in the basement. Once you see pictures of this thing, you will see how much space it takes up.

Details- 33" Wells Gardner VGA Monitor (640x480 res), dual LCD topguns, dual backlit trackballs, GroovyGamegaear LED balltops, Apache Controls Blackhawk Push/Pull Spinner, Home made LED pushbuttons (the lights are home made, not the buttons), Dual Core P4 2.8, 2GB ram, 160GB hard drive computer running Hyperspin (not shown in pics- I have changed to this front end since the pics were taken), with SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and Sega Master System running (thus the reason for so many buttons-N64).

Basically runs all games without stutter minus some of the CHDs- Blitz, Cruisin, etc....

My preference-

$300.00- Cabinet with monitor only- I take the top of the control panel off, computer out, but basically you get the whole cabinet/pedestal with monitor, marquee, coin door. No iso transformer needed for the monitor, just drop in a surge protector and hook your stuff up. No controls, no guns, no nothing, just what is listed here.

My non-preference-
$1000.00 for the cabinet with control panel (and guns) but no computer. I really only want to sell the cabinet/monitor and use this stuff in another project, but if you insist on having it, you are going to pay for it. It is a little bit silly of an asking price, but when you add in the individual costs to build this panel with guns (I think I paid right around 550.00 for the components) you can see the silliness is the fact that I want to keep this stuff and make you pay for it if you want it.

My non-non-preference-
Sell the whole thing as it sits with everything included for $2,000. So an additional $1,000 for a not so new computer and setup? You bet, if you haven't figured it out by now, I only want to sell the cabinet. A setup like this took a lot of time to configure (from a software standpoint)..... I am not getting that time back, nor do I want to take the time to do it again. Me keeping the rig is easily worth 1k to myself. You want the setup? Well, if you are going to pay silly money, it's yours.

Damn straight. I sold my MAME rig and it's getting picked up next month and I really need to copy everything over so I have it for future use. There should be a service that you could pay for that will configure your MAME set-up...

Good luck with the sale!

Need space bump.... How about $150.00 for the cabinet with the VGA monitor?

Man I would take that monitor if you could do like 250 shipped on it. Ithink Old Dominion would do it for around $100

Thanks, got your PM.... Right now because of time constraints and locating proper packing material for something of this nature, I would prefer a local sale.

Hmm.

You are under 8 hours away and could use a VGA monitor in my showcase cabinet. (I'm sorry, I only now just noticed this post for this monitor).

How long would you be willing to hold onto it? My vacation season starts at the end of the year and as long as th weathr wasn't terrible I could drive up and back to get it in my Cherokee.

Couple questions. Does it take an hd 15 connector?(vga cable). Do you have a cable you could part with to plug it straight into a surge protector?

Thanks. If I bought it I'd do something like $50 down non refundable and 50 in cash when I got there.

Edit: wife said no. Sorry dude. :/
