FS: Aoyue Int 968 soldering station - North Wales, PA

I've got a soldering station that needs to go. It includes a fully working soldering iron (which does need a new tip, available from http://sra-solder.com/section.php/73/1 ). The iron also has a nice smoke absorber (that curved metal pipe that goes out over the iron). If you turn that on, it sucks up all the smoke that you get while soldering. The iron is adjustable (using the knob on the front left of the base) up to 896F (480C). The soldering iron has a nice base with an integrated spot for a sponge, and a nice setup for a roll of solder, which can pay out via a hole in the base.

This station also has a hot-air system, and includes 5 different nozzles (4 different sizes of round + 1 square). The hot air is temperature adjustable (using the up & down buttons under the 'HEATER' LCD display in the middle) up to 480C (it's in C only, I can't see any way to change to F on that display). The display shows set temp and actual heater temp.

Here's the big downside: You SHOULD be able to adjust the airflow of the hot air using the knob in the lower right hand corner. Unfortunately, at some point that knob stopped doing anything useful, and so the hot air flow rate is now NOT adjustable. Unfortunately, it's stuck at a high enough flow rate that I find it hard to work with when trying to solder. It's fine for stuff like heat-shrink tubing. I considered ripping the thing apart and trying to fix it, but I decided to just move on to a different iron instead.

It's had a relatively small amount of use (I've had it for a few years, and I only solder a few times a month). Other than the airflow on the hot-air, it works great.

I'm looking for the best offer from someone who can come pick the thing up (I'm in North Wales, PA, not far from Philly, right next to Lansdale and just a couple of miles from Montgomeryville). I work from home, so I can arrange to be here at most any time you like for pickup, or I can meet you somewhere if you like.
