Here is a nice working Picture Tube for all you amplifone buffs! We are removing it from a Star Wars and would like to sell it to the first person who will give me $125 plus shipping! All colors are there and its clear...with monitor off, you can read game over at the top of the screen and left and right sides of tube have some sort of shadow....but the tube seems to be fine! Including the yoke too! (We are installing the more reliable Wells Gardner in the game). Sorry, we are NOT selling the other Amplifone components---just the tube. Email me directly [email protected] for fastest response... or call me 215-953-1188 ext 0 I take paypla and all 6 major credit cards.....Todd from TNT Amusements

Thanks for all the replies!! Four others apparently could use the tube....

Since 1984 when I began selling games, I have sold (with the color Wells Gardner Vector Monitor):
8- Black Widow (have 2 left to sell retail)
7- Gravitar (have 1 left to sell)
18- Space Duel (have 1 left to sell)
3- Space Duel cocktail
51- Tempest (have 5 left to sell)
3- Tempest cocktail
5- Tempest cabaret (have 2 left to sell)
49- Star Wars with wells (have 4 left to sell)
4- Star Wars with amplifone
5- Star Wars cockpit with 19" wells
1- Star Wars cockpit with amplifone

In some cases, if a game gets traded in, it is not counted twice...so our customer list is pretty accurate--unless the customer sells it privately.

Once "bulletproofed", the Wells is super dependable. I have only ONCE purchase the new flyback for one monitor, and once purchase the new chassis that was briefly made, for it.
Zanen Electronics cap and transistor kit, and the LV2000 kit seem to make them very reliable! I have more issues with the Atari logic boards!!

Sadly, in the late 80's and early 90's, the Amplifone monitors got tossed into the dumpster---when I vended them, they were always breaking...even the tubes went bad! And no one was rebuilding them or offered parts....of course, I wished I saved them now to resell to collectors. But for a Home Sale to an average family, the Wells are the way to go! Since this is sold.... Doesn't Tester007 have a bunch of NOS Amp tubes for sale? Maybe everyone wanted this one since it was cheap. Anyway, thought I would mention it for the four that missed out.
