FS: 6-in-1 MultiJAMMA Switcher PCB - $85 shipped

this board doesnt have -5v as standard so for some JAMMA pcbs it causes issues, but people have modded them to include the -5v, also didnt JAMMABOARDS offer the upgrade on this when purchased?

If that's the case, I'd love to ship mine back to be modded. Channel 2 has no sound, channel 4 has no sound or video.

Nope, no mods. The boards I bought them for didn't need -5V.

Priced reduced to $75 shipped.

Phet you can mod it your self.
It is not a big deal.
I even used relays to cut the -5v to the slots when not in use.
Here is a diagram I drew up awhile back.
If you don't use relays then just jump a wire from the edge connector to the needed slot.
I soldered the wire directly to the edge of the pad on the switcher edge connector.

Whoa, what is that, Chinese? Me no read diagrams. I'd need to have you hold my hand the whole time. Whilst I am sure you would enjoy that, only one of my body parts will reach from MN to Norcal, and it ain't my arm.

Why don't you have your houseboy Wang translate it for you?

I thought roids shrank that.

I modded mine. still haven't gotten around to using it. I might redo it to be more solid, should looped my wires into hooks that wrap around the slot JAMMA pins, but whatever.

basically Phet, you run it from the 6-in-1's edge connector pin (if I recall I didn't need to scrape the -5V finger) and you run that to the first slot you want -5V to ... takes a lot of counting and patience to determine which pin is the right one. then if you want -5V to another slot, you jumper it from the first slot to the next one. you just piggyback them.

I'll take a picture of mine later. Zenomorp had an instructional video on how to do it, but that got lost when his youtube account got deleted and he never did another in-depth one. but he has ones now that still show what it looks like.

EDIT: well actually he has a thread on here too http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=93729 lol

It's much easier just to pull your individual game pcbs that require -5, solder a wire on the board's edge connector for the -5, and then connect it to your power supply.

Maybe that's not the best idea, according to the other suggestions here, but I haven't had an issue with it yet (6 months and running).

The sound can go out on these...they're not that great of quality. I've had 2 of them both lose sound in slot #2.

And don't lose the remote :)!

I have had mine for a couple years and no problems at all.
Maybe because I use relays to cut the -5v helps to keep the sound problem away.
DK is on slot 2 and never had any problems with it.

Yea, my 6 in 1 has become a 3 in 1 now....

4,5,6 no longer work. I get no voltages from the relays. So obviously they are bad.

Now just to find, where I can order replacement relays as, jammaboards won't sell me any....
