My other dyes came in today and I got to work right away.

Red/Blue base colors are cheaper than yellow/yellow based colors because my yellow dye is near double the price of red/blue dye. Priced accordingly...

Visit new storefront to see available colors and stock quantity!

The Medium Blue/Medium Teal was a failed attempt at green, though it appears a good one.
My mixture was green as green can be, but it just didn't work. A higher ratio yellow/blue yielded green, but any "brighter" greens will require specific green dyes.

I've made a list of my mix ratios for colors I've already done, so they can be properly duplicated if more are needed.

Got my new nylon nuts (Dont even go there! lol), ended up using the dark blue/purple in my D&D pin and it looks great! thanks IJTFCinder

Well mine finally arrived today Australian customs had them,
they would look a bit suss going through the scanner,
they must of thought they had caught the aussie connection for Dr Feelgood.
Very nice product and will buy again, maybe you can do some black ones next batch

What are these used on? Are they for pinball machines? They look awesome!

Thanks Gibo, glad you like them.

I sourced a new supplier, and while their price is a little better...their customer service is kind of crappy in that they tend to not return calls in any sort of acceptable timeframe, and they took FIVE days to fill my order after the parts were already in (2 pre-packed boxes of 1000 nuts...).

I should have more ready in the next week or two.

I got 2000 nuts in from a new supplier, but it would appear I have a
problem. How big of a problem that is, I guess I will hear.

The new nuts have a shorter cap on them, and a very small "lip" at the
bottom. So they wouldn't match with the ones I already made. They're
otherwise the same point to point diameter, ie; wrench size.

Personally I like them better, the fact they aren't as tall seems to make them a little less obvious.
The entire purpose I had when doing them for myself originally, was them blending in with the plastics.

Do you have the same colours as the last batch and would it be possible to get your suppliers to make some Zaccaria ones in white

I hate to be "that guy" who asks for stuff that is not on the site, but is there any chance you will be getting any in black?

I will order other colors, adn please don't get black nuts just for me, but I thougth I would ask before I ordered.

Thanks!
Chris

200pcs of each color in stock again, except for dark purple(Little interest first time around). I will have black and hopefully a grey once that dye comes in.

I altered my dye mixtures for Orange and Green, I think they look a bit better now. If there's interest in the darker green I had, just let me know...the orange will stay as is, as it's just more "solid" than the previous mixture.

If you can think of another color I can do with Red/Blue/Yellow that you want, please let me know. I have about 800pcs of raw stock left still.
Any interest in pink? I think with a heavily diluted Red base I can make pink.

Note: The nut I have in stock now has a shorter cap. It fits fine on standard plastics posts still, I've tested them on more than one playfield.

In bulk quantities I MAY be able to source opaque white ones, but I would have to ask. I'm pretty sure they carry them, but orders are 1000pc minimum with this supplier, and opaques wouldn't dye well...you'd need to help drum up some more interest for me if you can.

Colors are the same, except for the Orange and Green per my previous post. The orange is still the same, just deeper looking, the green however is not.

If you want the same Green that I sent you, I can do it for sure...I just got the impression that there was more interest in a "greener" green than that.

I've moved the store over to the new host, but I'm still waiting on DNS Propagation for my (new) domain to happen.

I've removed the stock from the current host, so as to not wind up with orders on the old site while the new site is sitting ready with current stock levels.

New site loads fast, and the damn email system actually WORKS, so now I don't have to manually contact buyers to inform them of updates to their order...the system will do it like it was supposed to.

I can't quite make it out on any of the pics I looked at on IPDB, but it looked to me to be just like what I said, solid white (opaque) acorn nuts.

If you could show me a much more definitive picture that would be helpful.

P.S. New store is up!

Black nuts are ready...grey? Grey just isn't happening, and it won't happen even with a grey dye most likely. Sorry, no dice on grey nuts, I'm not risking buying a separate grey dye, for it to likely(See; almost certainly) not work.
The grey dyes are a black base too, with a white tint/activator crystal...only more than what's in the black.

It takes to these nylon nuts like soy sauce on rice! I diluted the black dye by 8x what I do with the other dyes and it STILL sucked up all the dye that was near completely translucent and made black nuts instead.

I mean I CAN get grey ones by pulling them from the dye bath pretty quick, but they do not come out even in shade...I'm not happy with the results, and I will not sell them as such. So no grey nuts...sorry!

Edit: To be honest I'm not sure I'm liking the black at all either...there seems to be a bit of shade variation period. Some are black, some are a very dark grey...subtle, but I can see it.

There seems to be many people who are hesitant to order, they have expressed that they'd like to see pictures post-install. I'm not in a position to provide those right now, so I'm offering a rebate to someone willing to do this.

The rebate will be 20% to 30% off your order, on the base price only(ie; not including shipping), paid upon completion of the following terms.

1: You must provide pictures from at least 2 machines with them installed. 3 machines will earn you a 25% rebate, 4+ a 30% rebate.
2: Each machine must have different colors installed. You may mix colors, but I would like to see at least 1 unique color per machine.
3: 3 pictures minimum per machine. 1 full playfield view, 1 upper and 1 lower. The pictures MUST be of good quality, not washed out by flash or too dark to really see anything, and in focus.

Contact me by PM, or via the store for this offer.
