I told my uncle I would turn some 80's guys onto his bike he is selling.
Geno is a great auto guy and straight shooter. So you won't get screwed.
Figured this may be of interest considering its 80's :)

1980 Kawasaki KZ 650 with 23,020 miles runs good. Original black factory paint with factory pin striping. 90% of the black paint is in excellent shape. 99% of the original factory pin striping is emaculete. New back tire and slightly used front tire. Engine is all stock and exhaust is original and stock. King and Queen after-market seat.

awesome. Just what I'm looking for (though I have been considering a similar year 'Zuki GS or even a naked G'wing).

Only too far away.

i used to have a 85 or 86. Thing was effing nice too and i gave the damn thing away cheap.. ahh the dumb things you do when your a kid..

I guy I used to work with had a Kawasaki 750 Turbo - man he loved that bike. He talked about that bike for years after he sold it.

I have a 2000 250R sitting in my garage...damn things had FOUR owners and only has 4200km on it.

Bought it with the intention of using it as a summer commuter bike(WAY better on gas than a 500/650), but I fucking HATE it, weighs a ton for a little bike, I hate the seating position up high at the ass end of the tank, and I've been spoiled by fuel injection...fuck carbs 4EVER.

What's wrong with carbs, other than that the word is hard to spell? Just curious, my bike has a carburetor. I don't know any better, never having ridden a fuel injected bike.

I like starting up my bike early in the morning, sitting just long enough to have a smoke and just going...no playing with air intake adjustments, no letting it warm up on a cold morning forever etc.
Compound that with better fuel economy thanks to the ECU taking care of air/fuel ratios, I can't find a single plus to a bike with carbs anymore, especially if you can adjust maps in the ECU yourself.
