I've been wanting a Ms. Pac cocktail since before I even got into this hobby. Fact is, that is the game that got me started. I saw a hacked cocktail cab with pacman in it on craigslist for $300 and started investigating even more. I eventually found that in my area (Portland, OR), they are hard to come by and if you do find one, the best you'll do is $600 for a well used and beat one. With that I just kept looking. And looking and looking. Eventually a friend on a local arcade group (PAC), had some cabs he was giving away to the group. He knew I wanted a Ms. Pac and asked if I was interested in using an empty Gorf cab as a project to build one. I took his offer and started collecting parts. As of now I have a working Ms. Pac cocktail in amazing condition for ~$200. All of the parts are original Ms. Pac except for the generic Midway cocktail cab box. Good enough for me for sure. One in the same condition around here goes for $900 plus. Multi it, and now your higher.

Basically I gutted what was left in the Gorf cab, repainted it, modded the CPs to receive the Ms. Pac layout. Put together a monitor made of a TV tube and a Wei-ya board, then just reassembled and cleaned and repainted things up as I went.

Over all I'm really happy with it. It's simply beautiful!

Looks REALLY good! I'm going to doing this same conversion shortly!!

If you need parts, PM me and I can tell you where I got them. I did the whole deal for ~$200, about $30 of that was paint. I had to buy all the repro art, PCB, and harness.

You did a nice job man! Hope mine turns out that nice!
Thanks for the offer, but I just about have all the pieces together!!

You did a nice job on that, but I personally would much rather have seen this go back to Gorf. Looks like you could have dropped a board set in and everything else is there. Ms.Pac cocktails are everywhere, but not too many have a Gorf cocktail.

Yeah, not really interested in a Gorf myself. The glass artwork was really bad. The spot that shows in the pic isn't so bad but all the rest was flaked away. Yes the harness and controls were there, but I much rather would have the Ms. Pac. To comment on them being ubiquitous, they really aren't in the northwest. I love arcades, but I don't like spending money, so this was a great way in.
