It used to be I'd see a Frogger at every auction in Indianapolis, and it'd go for stupid-low money. I didn't have room and wasn't a HUGE fan so the only one I ever got I turned around for $400 or something, and felt slightly bad about the high price.

Now that I want one, of course, I can't seem to find one for under $420 starting bid on the 'bay .. since it's low-dollar, low-priority, I'm only searching a 1-state radius of Indiana.

It just seems odd that this once common, low-priced game doesn't come up anymore and when it does, it's not low-priced anymore.

It helps to have sources outside of the internet. Friends, fellow collectors, operators. You will have way more options if you build up some relationships.

Interested in a very nice fully working dedicated cocktail? Not mine, but I can hook you up directly with the seller. Chicago suburbs. Then again, based on your post, probably out of your price range, I'm guessing they'll ask $500.

Don't feel to bad there hard to find over here as well. I missed out on one a month ago but that was the first local one I have seen for sale for a long time.

Someone has one on Craigslist here asking $1200. I was thinking the same thing...where'd they all go?

I collected about 10yrs before I found my keeper. Well, I did find another years ago, but it was pretty rough. I think a lot of Frogger cabinets succumbed to moisture, swelling, and crumbling.
