What the crap is wrong with the sync on my Frogger? I have installed two different professionally rebuilt monitor chassis and I still get the same results. basically, the image won't stay still using either of the hold adjustments. Do you think this could be from a board issue? Anyone ever seen this before? The monitor is a GO7. Also, I think the colors are off.

Sorry the video is so psychedelic, but I was filming my monitor adjusting mirror so I could toggle the holds during the video so you could see what I see.

1) How is the sync wired up? From the manual, it appears to be positive sync, so you may want to try it that way if your not. Or switch it to negative if it's not working as positive sync.

2) Try moving the ground from the 6-pin connector to the 3-pin connector.

3) Make sure the 3-pin connector isn't offset one pin?

4) Check to make sure the sync wire from the edge connector isn't loose?

5) Have you checked your B+? If it's off, you won't be able to sync.

6) There are two resistors in the sync circuit that could be incorrect. Electrohome shipped some with the wrong values:

R314 and R317 (in the sync circuit) need to be checked for the correct value. The factory mistakenly put in the wrong value resistors in these locations on some chassis. Both should be 390 ohms, but the factory put in 4.7 k resistors by mistake.

The original monitor used 100V don't G07s need 110V?

BTW this post should now go in the monitor repair section. ;)
